KEVIN was 51-26 up and down tenure. Not a bad record. Seems like some of these programs could undermine their relative stability by firing successful guys.
Case in point - look at the Nebraska mess. It’s sounding like they might luck out and get Frost. Even so, it will be interesting to see how he does in the B1G.KEVIN was 51-26 up and down tenure. Arizona State announcement in 3..2..1I thought he was fired about a month ago. I guess it's official now.
Jimbo Fisher to A&M is the new rumor.

Rumor for Jimbo was 10 years 75M...that would put him 2nd only to Harbaugh. As for Sumlin...ASU.Why does Jimbo want out of FSU? Hopefully more of the same with Frost at Debby. Traditional Nebraska football is a thing of the past.
Where might Sumlin end up?
I’ve not seen them play, but that is what I was hoping.his UCF teams do not play defense
what will his Nebby teams do? will the black shirts return? Ever? LOL
And is he takes over at ASU...they owe Graham 12 million to leave.Aggies owes him a $10.4 million buyout under the terms of his contact, which is to be paid in the next 60 days and isn't reduced if he takes another coaching job.
Yep, not everyone can have stable .560 football
wowza Everybody talking about the coaching carousel. One of the out of control side effects appears to be the rapidly ballooning salaries and buy-outs. Its a bonanza for head coaches, even marginally good coaches. Looks like we could be seeing $10M per year annual salaries and $20+M buy outs in the not-too-distant future.Aggies owes him a $10.4 million buyout under the terms of his contact, which is to be paid in the next 60 days and isn't reduced if he takes another coaching job.

unbelievable money being tossed around to get rid of a coach and to find a new coach
or to recycle a coach?
But there is no money for the players
What is going to school for free? What are all the meals these guys get? What is the physical therapy, the counselling, the tutors or the prestige of playing college athletics? Seems to me they are being paid and pretty well.
They do get a stipend. Approved by NCAA in 2015. Varies from college to college. $2,000-$5,000 per year. With the millions being paid to coaches, AD's and Conference commissioners and the like I don't think giving the players a small stipend for expenses is too much to ask considering all the money they are making for others. Just my opinion, not trying to derail the thread.
