Since the 1990’s, African teams have two golds, a silver, and two bronzes in men’s soccer. An African team that makes the Olympics is no slouch.

USA is ranked #2 in the world, but happened to play Serbia who is #1. Hopefully there is a rematch

How do people not love the Olympics? I honestly don't get those crapping on it. I am making myself sick watching so much TV right now which is really bad because we aren't to the major team sport medal rounds or even touched track yet (yes, honestly the only time I care about track but it is awesome.)
Today I watched:
Parts of both women's rugby games
All of the women's team event
All of the men's soccer game
Almost, if not all, of the swimming medal events and a few others.
Most of the men's and women's 3x3
Almost all of the men's volleyball game
Half of the #2 men's beach volleyball game
Random parts of other nations basketball games
A little badminton (we sucked)
A little canoe slalom
I know I love almost all competitions and sports along with anything for our country. This is such a great 2 weeks!
At the women’s team finals for gymnastics: Michael Phelps, Nadia Comaneci, Serena Williams, any many more.
If you don’t love the Olympics, you don’t love sport.

Best part of working from home most days - I have it on in background from 8-4!
Absolutely fell in love with Rugby the past few days. Mostly from watching the US women, but I watched the majority of the other games too because they were so exciting. Some really great athletes out there!
