Nate is already two matches in...had a close one in his first match and TF in his second. Rhodes dropped his first bout. Gable Porter beat Wi State Champ Sonnentag 6-0.
Flo has it on there site that Jesuroga survives a first round scare. I watched the match. At no time was Jesuroga very in danger of losing that match. Fun fact: I wrestled that kid’s dad Mark Perryman when I was in HS. Getting old is awesomeThe kid from Cali was a lot bigger than Nate. Gave up a first period TD but came back to control the match at the end. Cluster at the scorer's table than the ref compounds it by taking 20 extra seconds off the clock. Nate's 5th match of the morning...what a grind.

I think referring to the "Playboy Centerfolds" is enough of an age indicator on its own!Right? I remember somebody giving me a good measuring stick...when the Playboy centerfolds are young enough to be your daughter, you are officially old.
Mine is loading fine.brackets will not load for me, anyone else?
Looks like he was injured as a freshman. Got third last year with a 1 loss season. The walrath kid from Iowa is having a great tournament. Pinned Griffith and is now top 8. Nice tournament from a 2a Iowa 3rd place finisher!

Been going for a while. Our guy made it through.Only loss was in the semis to the champ Carson Babcock from New Hampton and now UNI. Then went major and pin in the consos. Looks like a hammer.
Anyone have a guess about when semis start? I’d like to tune in.

120lb Super 32 Finals: Nate Jesuroga (Southeast Polk, IA) vs Aden Valencia (Ann Sobrato, CA)
Edit: 10:52 CT, 145 with Chittum just started.

Thanks. I can’t figure Flo’s bout board out for the life of me. I’m not smart. If you or anyone could estimate when finals might start I’d appreciate it.
wasn't even that competitive. knox looked better in every positionFinals are going on now. Bassett is about to lose to Knox.
Didn’t get to see it but the Flo guys pretty much called this on their show. Love that Knox moved down for this match when most guys are whipped before they get on the mat with Bassett.wasn't even that competitive. knox looked better in every position
This is spot on.jesuroga's movement on his feet reminds me a lot of a young zain retherford. obviously doesn't have the mat game.
Nate wins Super 32! Congrats. He was the aggressor and controlled the center of the mat. Valencia just waited for a shot that wasn't there.
depends on how you view aggression. jesuroga took ground all match, but valencia definitely out shot him.I like him and have no issues with how he won, so this isn’t me being negative. But is the above accurate? He scored on a go behind off Valencia’s shot. His other good scoring chance was in a similar flurry.
Reminds me of Mark Ironside a ton.jesuroga's movement on his feet reminds me a lot of a young zain retherford. obviously doesn't have the mat game.

He’s a good hand fighter who’s patient and in good position.depends on how you view aggression. jesuroga took ground all match, but valencia definitely out shot him.
