I switched to T-Mobile about 2 years ago when Verizon screwed me out of $800 for a trade-in phone that got "lost" in the UPS system while being sent to them. Verizon provided the box and label, I had no choice in the company, it was prolly stolen from the local UPS station because it never moved after showing it arrived there... since Verizon was the shipper on record, UPS wouldn't pay me for the phone and since Verizon never received it they wouldn't give me the credit. So, I paid off the new phone in full and switched to T-Mobile. Been very happy with it... the extra benefits you get with their higher plans (Netflix, etc) really bring the cost down and it starts off very cheap to begin with. My coverage has been great. My husband still has Verizon and coverage is nearly identical. I had MUCH better coverage in Mexico than he did.
