Teske transfer

One year?

Does Teske have design skills or coding abilities? Because that was an awful lot o production value for a kid who, while a tough wrestler, is a zero time AA. And he has a logo! I'm glad to have him, but lots of sizzle for not much steak thusfar. I hope Iowa proves to be the missing ingredient to take him to the next level. Good luck to him vs. Schriever, whichever guy starts will be better for having the other guy to compete with, and hopefully they can shape each other into one of them being AA level.

he’s got the right mentality. it will be a good battle for the starting job and both guys will improve because of this competition in my opinion. i like this quote from him

“This has been a crazy journey for sure and I’m taking a risk, without question. I understand I’ll have to fight my way into the Hawkeye lineup.”

Poor Schriever. Wonder if Brands is aware that Hawk fans are against him bringing in kids to compete a/o recruiting over guys. 😀
I don't think he cares. His job is to win national championships and recruiting over kids is part of the deal. Stacking talent is part of the deal. Now, with NIL I think you will see more and more of it and more transers.

I do like his determination and work ethic to accomplish his goals.

Has 2 years left, presumably both at 133.

Be pretty cool next year to Ayala / Teske at the first two weights. Not counting out Schriver but he has never been the same since he was injured in high school (junior year I believe).

don't think either teske or schriever are great, but it helps that 133 is not a deep weight after Fix and RBY. Could see those guys sneaking into the 7th place match with the right draw. but otherwise i'd put them around 15 with r12 ceiling.

nice add to provide some options at 133 given schriever's health history.

Don't underestimate the ability to roll daily with Lee, DeSanto, Schriever, Woods, Eierman, etc. and how it may help someone get to another level. No disrespect to UNI, but he did not have that there. All disrespect to PSU, they didn't either.

Love to see the cradles in the video. Feel like we haven't hit those when available the last couple of years. Really good addition to the team.

It's only cool if they're the two best guys. Teske made it plain he knows the risk involved in making the lineup ( he'll see it some even if he's just a backup IMO). My concern is him not being a full fledged 133 lber., those guys with fringe AA talent (and some better talents) get exposed eventually if undersized.

Teske or Schreiver both have a jump to make to really be a force. Time will tell if either can pull that off at 133. Go get'em boys.
