Thad Motta

I’m a little curious if anyone has heard if Thad Motta has any intentions of coaching again. I thought he’s only 54....seems like his name seldom pops up on possible candidates list. I thought he was a heckuva a coach.

He had extremely serious orthopedic health issues, nobody really knows if those have gotten better with time off and surgery or not. If they haven’t it’d be pretty tough to be effective with the amount of travel required.

it would be interesting if he popped up as a possible hire for some of these vacancies

Was a target for both Georgia and Wichita State jobs in recent years but turned them down.

He resides in Indiana and daughter is student at Butler. Indiana job might be a possibility if he does decide to coach again
