Elon isn’t joking…see Lebron James’ account.
Bruh,
Lol at Musk offering to comp subs for celebs & athletes. Huge nerd trying to hang out with the cool kids energy.
Why is this a problem? Are there consumer protection laws against making false claims like this?
It’s an interesting question. A company sending someone freebies wouldn’t be an issue, but then publicly releasing ads with names or images w/o consent implying they’re users of your product would seem inappropriate. Misappropriation, likely? Why is this a problem? Are there consumer protection laws against making false claims like this?
There’s also an issue that he told everyone they were doing away with legacy blue checks and everyone would have to pay going forward. That’s obviously not the case. It’s an interesting question. Seems the issue for Twitter is giving a checkmark for celebrities implies they are on board with the change or are endorsing Twitter. Not sure if I can think of a parallel or if it’s actionable but doesn’t feel right.

So, you're still on the Elon fan boy train?I thought this was the better own.
I thought this was the better own.
Kind of the ultimate loser/cuck symbol. For about 99.9% of the population, paying for Twitter Blue is the equivalent of taping a "kick me" sign to your own back like back when bullying was more wholesome
I don't think there's any legal problem at all, Elon owns twitter and he can do anything he wants with it.Why is this a problem? Are there consumer protection laws against making false claims like this?
