The fact that wadley

I'm gonna say this one more time.
The people that keep saying we won't miss Akrum Wadley are out of their minds.
we will miss wadley but he cant play college forever. the 2 youngsters will be good next year and great the last 2 years.

I agree, but they're were numerous people on here before the season started that said he should not return kicks at any cost for fear of being injured. Hindsight is still undefeated.

Not only that but the huge "coach critics" were some of the most vocal that it would be stupid for the coaches to play him on KR all the time.
We have to have some of the stupidest most hypocritical fans on the planet....and I would know I've been on 50+ other boards. A lot of idiots out there all second-guessing the coaches.

This is true, and it's stupid. No more likely to get hurt as a kick returner

This is 100 percent untrue and they talk every year about eliminating kick off's completely, just to prove how ridiculous this thought is.

Yeah, because on most running plays, the guys tackling him get 50+ yards to build momentum......
A DT crashing down the line of scrimmage, into the side of Wadley's knee, as he's cutting through a hole, is more likely to cause a serious injury. IMO.

if we had ever played Mitchell he would still be on the team. that is the staffs fault.

Well let's keep in mind Mitchell didn't play at Texas Tech either, his new team. In fact even more mysterious than that he went down there and for some reason another went home. Debatable on whether that was his decision or the coaching staff.

The truth is more often than not and by more often I mean 999 times out of 1000 our coaching staff ends up looking righteous in these matters no matter what the Internet critic might want to claim.

*Banks, Stanzi, and CJB

So, 997.

QB doesn’t seem to be a strong suit of this regime.

No, you are. as a false equivalancy because the argument that talented D1 recruits aren’t ready to play until their 4th damned year is stupid and indefensible. It’s stupid when Kirk says it and it’s stupid when our fans say it.

Wadley returning kicks was the difference in the game. If this game was played during the season and we have Kelly-Martin returning kicks to the 17 yard line over and over like the PSU game, we lose.

Hmmmm I have to be honest I don't know that I've ever heard KF say that.

He was getting too gassed returning kicks. It was affecting his ability to carry the ball on the subsequent possession. He also wasn't that effective. Then Butler got hurt. Kirk was absolutely right to not keep him back there. He was also right to put him back there in the bowl game, to let him showcase himself and put some $$$ in the ol' draft bank.

Oh… Am I so thankful you brought them up… You are a classic example of somebody that gouges their eyes out and cuts their ears off so they don't have to hear lucid arguments. Once JR went to the NFL the CJB argument lost all credibility.

The Banks thing has been run down on this very board by 100 different posters 1000 times... he made plenty of pretty significant mistakes in his junior year and really didn't start cooking until three or four games into the season.

Stanzi I will give you but even that takes a blind wombat to not admit Ricky had huge ball security issues and they likely were even worse in practice so it's no wonder the coaches struggled to make that call.

I, unlike you, have watched enough Great football coaches struggle with similar decisions to know, KF doesn't deserve the vitriol that you clowns pass on to him.

But hey it's an anonymous message board it goes with the territory. We make fun of those kind of fans all season long at work.

i have been ripping Vberg all year. Slow and not quick. Barely can get to the ball much less return it. Case in point, Wisconsin game.

Saban thinks special teams is critical and puts his best players at punt return and kick offs.

Kirk is a dummy.
Bama has just a bit more depth than we do.....

I'd like to tell you it surprises me how stupid people are but all you have to do is look at the comment boards on pretty much every article ever written... those of the same people on here complaining about their football coaches

The reason for this is because of wedge blockers and wedge busters. I love how you degrade everyone about how little they know about football but dont know the majority of injuries on kickoffs are these people. If they want to get rid of them, fine. But don't give me this "we cant let someone return kicks because they MIGHT get hurt." Its a garbage argument.

Too gassed from kick returns @dbrocket98?? Holy hell. You've got to be kidding me! We consistently play 2,3,4 running backs a game, and you're telling me it's gonna gas him because he returns a few kicks?? Garbage excuses to defend stupidity
