They made the hawks work for everything they got...nothing came easy.

IMO, they did play a good defensive game. Aside from Malcolm Hill, why do guys wearing headbands and guys who have man-buns always seem to burn us? lol. 
Sorry, but you can't give the other team credit. It goes against the "our guys suck and give no effort and we have a crappy coach" crowd.
Finke really hurt us in both games. Listening to the announcers talk about his man bun in both games made it even worse.
Most teams can play good defense against us when they know Jok is supposed to take every shot on the perimeter and the PG can't drive past you with any effectiveness. at 53, I could play half way good defense against Fran's scheme. Throw in the officiating that lets you hold and play grab ass, we can make a lot of defenses look bad.
Iowa's defense is good for a while, then completely breaks down for a layup or a wide open 3. Patience is the key against the Hawks, because they will generally allow a good look late in the clock.
