Police have identified the student accused of the attack as a 14-year-old. He had previously been charged with assault causing bodily injury after he allegedly assaulted a school counselor in February, according to Pella police chief Shane McSheehy. The 14 year old previously assaulted a school counselor. Sounds like someone that needs to go to the state juvenile detention facility.
That school is located on the wrong end of town, y’know…Yep. The Dutch be living that thug life.
My wife loves tulips, so this whole thing is music to her ears! They have plenty of flowers they send to your funeral.

Gonna be tough for our resident White Nationalists to blame this on Black or Brown people?

I grew up on the infamous east side of Pella. Things were rough and the odds of making it out were long.
In Pella…Democrats.Who usually lives at the wrong end of town? What type of people?
The bakery is a bit overhyped, the tulips are nice, and the FB stadium at Central is pretty underwhelming.
A most delicious way to die.Except they shank with a sharpened dutch letter.

You went to the wrong bakery. The bakery is a bit overhyped, the tulips are nice, and the FB stadium at Central is pretty underwhelming.
And they're playing for a state championship tomorrow, so it worked out pretty good for them I guess. The bakery (Jaarsmas) “ over-hyped”? Seriously?
You have pretty high standards, my friend. The football field is set-up badly…should have put the home stands on the west side of the field, but the expense of running water and sewer lines (concession stands, restrooms) to that side of the field was (according to the college) “cost prohibitive.” The result is “home” fans sit staring into bright /blinding sunlight for much of a Fall afternoon game. They should have spent the $$, but sometimes Dutch thriftiness comes back and bites you in the butt. Other than that, the field is decent and it is an improvement over what they played on before.
I’ll be interested to see how the “remodel” of the high school stadium turns out…Pella High played its home games at Central this year during their remodel.
They probably don't want you to live there either. I always say it is a good town to be from.It is a nice town....but I would never want to live there.
