The race is breaking

You would be wrong. I achieved a rate of 8 to 1 when I practiced. And I don't get to control the facts.

The facts here are Trump is POS and you claim not to support him, yet you do everything possible defend him and his simpletons.

Go have another mimosa
You still don’t understand that I support Republican positions on most issues.
I support issues. Not the current nominee.
Re-read this as many times as you need to. If you still don’t understand my point I can’t help you.
Have a nice day.

In 2016, the polling didn't capture the "hidden Trump voters".

I'm hoping that in 2024 the polling isn't capturing the women and young people that will be driven by the abortion issue.
Yep...the party of abortion....not that's there's anything wrong with that....

With that result I would expect to see a reenactment of the Summer of Love riots...
That would not be cool.
Most of the posters on this site weren’t alive to see it happening on live TV or they were just toddlers.

Plenty of people in Georgia, Arizona, Nevada, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, and North Carolina were paying attention to the event.

I'm just not convinced that DT Barnum's "base" isn't already excited. (Yeah, I know - double negative in that sentence) My feeling is that he needs to convince enough of those who didn't vote for him in 2020 to flip back. The grouping of voters who didn't really like Biden but were willing to vote for him because of the flipping "horse in a hospital" experience from 2016 to 2020.

I've read a lot about his base "capping out" at 40-42%. He needs another 6% to 9% of the electorate to gain the win.

The MSG event certainly didn't try to target the latter group; it targeted those who are already enthusiastic supporters. If you are pandering to those who already virulently support you, what does that say about voter turnout concerns?
This is how I see it. Someone please tell me how and where Trump is going to get that kind of percentage? And if there's the same kind of turnout as the last race there are more registered Democrats than Republicans nationwide. And even if Kamala isn't "the most likeable" candidate neither was Sleepy Joe.

I don't disagree with most of this. I do think his shot is to get votes back from people that voted for Biden, or sat it out, in a return to normalcy, moderation and basic competency that they DEFINITELY didn't feel like they got.

However, I'm not sure I agree that the MSG thing means anything. For one, Trump is like a 3 year old in a lot of ways, and it's impossible to know what's a strategy and what's a whim. But he's NEVER been disciplined enough to really work at those people. I don't know if there's a lens at which that many people in the heart of liberalism is a great publicity stunt, or it's just something he demanded he wanted to do.

LOL. Not familiar with used car dealers…I did get a two year old car once through an off lease situation…another wrong assumption from Jimmy. 😎
I thought you worked at car dealership at one time. Is that wrong?

Character matters.

Republicans are championing a criminal sexual deviant. It's disgusting.

Oh, it does not. That's been established. You would vote for Bill Clinton over Mitt Romney in a nano-second.

But, yes it definitely is.

Serious. Noone here cares for your antics. It is lame at best.
Was there a poll taken? Dammit I shoulda had all my friends and family jump on.
The results would have piled up.
Hell yeah get her off message boards. She needs to pull weeds and dust.
😂😂😂😂😉😂😂😂
Lighten up McGill. You are too worked up about this election - like a lot of people - but America (and you) will survive. Deep breaths and stop believing everything you see, hear, and read. 👍

I voted last Tuesday and left the top of the ballot blank. Didn’t vote for either one. I don’t need to justify it. I don’t need approval or criticism. I don’t need 💩 from trolls, bots, angry leftists or subpar intelligentsia trying to stir up trouble.
IDGAF.
You vote how you want. I don’t care.

This is how I will vote as well. Although I'm mentally closer to voting Trump than either previous time and I hate it, so I won't do it. I do think Kamala is far worse than Hillary or Biden (the candidate).

There is a better chance of democracy ending if Harris wins; because that is when MAGA, particularly at the state level, will fight to overturn the results. And it will make 1/6 look like a small town Iowa Caucus.
This is complete nonsense. Be better.

How do you figure, that is completely opposite of history? Trump has tried to overturn elections, and is already talking about stolen elections, are you really that obtuse?

???

Are you guys reading my post inside-out, upside-down, and backwards?

Any polling suggesting Nevada, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin were anything close to "almost certainly" going blue would be contrary to what Plouffe has been saying for more than a month.
I have no idea who Plouffe is, but it is what polls were saying.

How about this, I look at the polling data say of independants they will break between 2 to 1 to 3 to 1 to democrats. If republicans, have 10% vote for democrat or even 3 % democrat this changes immensely.

Is there some historical evidence that this is what will happen?

I think you need to take your own unsolicited advice. You really think you are above others on here. Yet, your posts show how much you don't know/recognize.

Well shit. Harris just better lose huh?

No. But people better be prepared to take to the streets. Tell me, do you think it's NOT going to get ugly if Harris wins? Do you think there is little chance some GOP-controlled state legislatures won't overturn their results if Harris wins? Are you 100% positive SCOTUS would step in and ensure the results of the election are honored?

I didn't think you were a salesperson, but I assumed you knew the ones that worked there.
She gave backseat handies to close deals. Pretty good gig for someone with her intellectual cababilites, TBH. The world needs bubble brained blonde jerkoff artists, too 🤷‍♂️

I do think I am slightly more intelligent than average - and thank you for recognizing that. I carry some common traits common to the eldest child in the family which was believing what my parents told me all the time to instill a sense of responsibility and awareness so I could help my Mom with three younger siblings. But not in the larger sense of the entire universe. Just on here. Soft targets seem to abound.
I also recognize a lot that I choose to ignore. Are you suggesting that I discontinue doing that? Any advice on what or where I should re-center my focus?
I mean get down to the real nitty gritty and admit you are a bit angry because I don’t agree with your opinion and I’m able to express my views in a manner that’s both frustrating and oppositional to your own.
I don’t begrudge you your opinion.

Do you have me confused with someone or are you just sad you won’t EVER be so lucky?
Unless you carry a set of tweezers with you at all times you just don’t measure up…

Hold on.....I'm not angry. Nor do I believe that you should agree with me on any particular topic. We probably have more in common than less. But, I'm not backing down about my statement that you pretty much hide behind shades on your opinions; i.e." I'm not voting for Trump, but I am going to mess with things"

Thats the reason I called you a used car dealer. Talking about things to person A; but is willing to be person B that will contrive .

Lets just leave it at this. I don't think you are honest. Prove me wrong.

If "dish it out but can't take it" has a picture next to it in the dictionary, it's Goldie's mug glaring out from the page.
