Rutgers only had 6 fouls in each half. Explain...
I think Fran is the one to lose this. His team goes five minutes without scoring and he decides to not put a different look on the court the whole time. Jordan wasn’t helping his team bricking it up, but he keeps him out there???

Refs smefs…a team that shoots 28% doesn’t deserve to win. That said…the foul with 2 seconds was beyond ridiculous.

Regardless of the four points that that the refs spotted Rutgers, this is one of the reasons why the Big Ten doesn’t have any success in March Madness. Other conferences don’t mix football and basketball like Big Ten refs let happen. Then the Dance hits and it’s a completely different game

What about a team that shoots 31%? Game should’ve been decided in OT. You know it’s bad when both announcers said it’s a bad call. Especially with how physical this game was and no calls throughout.
Fran made 0 adjustments during that brutal stretch. Maybe if he and his kids weren’t such assholes, the refs might not screw us? He’s just a terrible in game coach. All of that said, what a god awful foul call to end the game.

Yes they did and now we know ho they beat Purdue My opinion is that the 3 refs need to be fired and Iowa needs to play the game in protest and if you’re one of those that thinks the refs didn’t effect the outcome of the game then you don’t know basketball and you should leave the board.
No one was helping the team tonight. Guys looked liked a deer in headlights all game. Couldn't throw it in the ocean.

This. Both teams were terrible offensively. This game didn’t deserved the ending it was given.
Complete phucking horse phuck call. One, that’s not a god damn foul, two, you don’t call that. Complete phuck job by the refs.
Think this one stings because it felt like it was taken out of their hands at the end. But…Ron Harper did make the free throws. Will be interesting to see if they can use this for motivation.

Did you notice how muted the crowd was when they called that foul? Most of them didnt even realize it was a foul being called, because why would there be?
