The refs sure gave Rutgers the game tonight

I think Fran is the one to lose this. His team goes five minutes without scoring and he decides to not put a different look on the court the whole time. Jordan wasn’t helping his team bricking it up, but he keeps him out there???
there were substitutions during that time. hard to believe with as physical as the officials allowed rutgers to be, that it took a phantom, game winning call to beat us. I’m betting you think I’ts Fran’s fault no matter what.

What? I think it was a bullshit call and should of never happened? It was one of the worst I have witnessed in a long ass time not sure what you’re getting at
My bad, I guess I misinterpreted you and his point.

I would think RU team and fans would feel better about the W if it was legitimately earned in OT, if that would in fact occurred, rather than ridiculous call at the end.

It sounds like we agree, I reread the posts.

I was shocked we got that call even though Ron's play this year has pushed him to the level where stars get favorable whistles at times. (Keegan is a superstar, too, obviously). But I don't feel bad about coming away with the W. I was terrified Keegan was going to steal the W at the buzzer again.

Good luck moving forward.

No big deal- don’t sweat it as I have done the same thing I am sure at least a 100 times 😲

What amazing defense! I wonder how the team leading the conference in scoring only puts up 46 points? It had to be the fantastic defensive effort by Rutgers!

A ref that makes that call should have to go to meeting with B1G officials and go over the game film and I think it will show that is exactly the defense Rutgers played all game. That was an iffy call, you don't make that call with 1.9 second left.

That said, maybe Harper rises up and makes a shot or they win in OT. Ref gave the win to RU but it is not clear Iowa would have won if they hadn't made that call.
No iffy about it. It was a horse sh!t call period. After what was allowed all game to call that crap was flat out embarrassing for league. Courtney Green is quickly ascending to Paul Szelc status(he is an ignorant scoundrel and I disapprove of his very existence)

You disagree? Maybe you or your brother Pat can send out a tweet bashing the refs again . That seemed to help.
GTFO Legs, servers your name. Would rather this crap be publicized then let it continue forever. Refs need called out.

Neither team deserved to win this offensive shitfest! Jbo is nice to have in there when he's scoring, but Fran needs a quicker trigger on pulling him.. He's either on or off... after his second wide open airball, at least get somebody in there to play some defense!!

Horrible call, but we had a chance to win at the end and our superstar missed a shot. Not to mention the couple free throws we missed towards the end of the game by PMac and Keegan. Is this the Cryclone board or what?

Both teams had opportunities to win the game and did not take advantage, but the officials decided to insert themselves. The two points taken away at the end of the first half and then the phantom foul with two seconds left had a huge impact on the game, which is a shame.

Googling Courtney Green address, family information and dog's name....

Stop with the refs suck mantra. You all sound like a bunch of Iowa State fans. The fact is Fran has zero good will with B1G refs after throwing hissy fits since he got here. Add to that an Iowa team that is about as tough as a kindergarten soccer team and you get these results.

Not only 6 fouls for the half, only 2 the first 12 minutes of the half! In my opinion, you can't take the ball away as often as they did without scraping or hacking an arm. This is how MSU used to play and win, and still does but not as bad, I guess.

And HR would be praising Courtney Green for making the tough, but correct call. Weird how that works.
I doubt that. They would just be complaining about the lousy call, but also saying CMac and Fran have brought this type of thing on over the years with their antics.

So you’re telling me a couple of games after an Iowa player goes after the refs on Twitter we play in a game where a couple of key calls don’t go our way? Unbelievable!!
So this is how games are decided now? So glad you pointed this out. Well, let's have the boys all tweet some glowing reviews of the officials and we will never lose another game

Yeah, it's just Fran. Do you even watch any other games? Have you watched Izzo in action? Underwood? Any of the other coaches in America watching their games being decided by the refs or trying to affect the way the games are call in their favor.

We've had posters on our board upset that Pike doesn't get on the refs more than he does whenever there is a bad call against us, but it is not his style to erupt on the refs. Fran certainly can go off in epic fashion, but he is not along. As you said, so does Izzo. Juwan Howard lost his mind late the other night in a game that was an out of reach victory and got T'd up.
