What is strange is we have a certain segment of the fanbase that will not post after wins yet become extremely vocal after losses, Do they not enjoy wins?
They solely enjoy bashing Iowa. A guy I know that claims to love Iowa also claims Luka is the most overrated player in our history. I shit you not. There’s a segment of the fan base that just hates anything good.

I do find this odd as well. OSU is listed currently as a 1 seed, and Iowa just won at their place by 16 points. That is a great performance. I'm probably more critical than I should be after losses, but that was a fantastic performance by Iowa. Set themselves up to get a double bye and good NCAA seed with a good final week.

They have had "signature" wins this year already. This is just icing.
Again it proves just how much not having CJ hurt this team during the losing stretch. It seems like every time an Iowa player goes down, the team takes an emotional hit that they struggle to deal with. Thank God the team rallied for today's win.
I guess it depends on a person’s definition of a signature win. I don’t really consider Purdue, North Carolina, or Wisconsin signature wins. But.....I don’t disagree with anything you have said.
CJ is definitely the glue that holds this team together!
At WI by 15, AT MD by 22, AT Rutgers and AT MI State by 30. All VERY impressive wins. Rutgers was very hot when Iowa beat them. Iowa housed NC. All very good signature wins. And now OH State AT OH State by 16, icing on the cake. Iowa needs to win out and make the B1G Tournament finals and they will be a 2 seed.
This win definitely helps Iowa’s resume big time! Before today the Hawks were 1-4 versus teams that are currently ranked. Now win at home against Wisky and Bugaha and win at least the first game in the B10 and they should be a 2 seed, 3 at the worst which would be huge. If the defense continues to play like today and the offense continues in a more aggressive attack mode this team could make some noise in March!
Toussaint had a good game today. I hope he can build off this. Would be a huge boost to the team if he can play more consistently the rest of the year. The three reserves all gave Iowa big quality minutes. When they do that and Garza and Weiskamp are on Iowa can beat anyone. We saw just a game ago what happens when none of the above is going well.
I don't think the wins vs Minnesota or Purdue at home are signature. The win at Rutgers lost its luster after Rutgers faded. Iowa was 0-3 vs the three teams that were ahead of them (Illini, Michigan, OSU)...so the win at
OSU IS the biggest win of season in my book.

Only 60 years. I say my first game 74 yars ago and I still love the hawkeys and never have never lost faith in them. But that is just me.
Did I say I didn’t “ love “ them? Did I say I ever “lost faith” in them? All I said is that my experience has shown me to prepare myself for disappointment.
