He is projecting Kremlin wishes. Tell the MAGA crowd the Russians will probably get all of Ukraine so when the Chinese deal to give Russia the 4 territories it is occupying in a peace deal they will go along with it. This is Kremlin talking points right out of Trump’s whore licking mouth.
I remember when Tucker said Russia was winning and I couldn’t believe people that watch his show wouldn’t just look at a map and the numbers and draw their own conclusion.
I’m not saying Ukraine will get everything they want, but it’s essentially a stalemate with catastrophic Russian casualties.
Give it two months. I think by Memorial Day Ukraine will have made another big take back, and will be on the doorstep of, if not into, crimea.

A kill zone that resulted in an incredible amount of deaths/injuries on both sides, but one that stoned the orc advance and bled the Wagner boyz until they called it a day.
Time will tell if it was the correct strategy for Ukraine.
I can’t remember who posted it the other day (it could have been you!), but in a grim calculation of war, many low level Ukrainian units/pawns were moved into place to take the brunt of things at Bakhmut, while the “knights, rooks, and bishops” have been readied and moved into place for the counteroffensive.
Not me, but likely true. Defensive operations against brute force don’t tend to eat up the most advanced weapons or highest level operators. Rather, they require well thought out positioning, cohesive operations, tenacity, and non-ending execution.
This is not a knock on the brave and skilled defenders who have stood in the gap vs. the orc offensives, but a truthful observation.
This is my thought to having the Ukraine counter offensive be so public. Let Russia make the first adjustments, and using the US intelligence, adjust the counter offensives to Russia’s adjustments.

Ukraine has been training soldiers on Western equipment in Europe, UK, US for the last 6-9 months. Western military equipment is flowing into Ukraine for their Spring Offensive. RuSSian forces in Ukraine are about to get steamrolled come Spring. Why would they cut a deal now?

Which is why Russia is cranking up the disinformation, the nuclear fears, and deploying their stooges in foreign media and governments. They need to stop the bloodshed before Ukraine cuts their forces into two or three chunks.
Judging from the rough ride and wobbling wheels I’d say an axle fire is in the near future of a few of those trucks.

Along with the posts about Russia threatening to move tactical nukes into Belarus, I have been thinking about their opposition leader touring the US the last few weeks. Belarus is a country that could come apart very quickly. The majority of the citizens do not seem happy about being a vassal state of Russia.
It’s important that she is visiting with US leaders and notable influencers. I wish she’d get five minutes on Fox.

Russian military personnel selling homes and evacuating Crimea tells you what you need to know about what they think their prospects of holding Kherson and Zaporizhzhia Oblasts. I believe these control water supplies for Crimea and as soon as they fall, all of Crimea will become target practice for UKR artillery with freshly stocked Western weapons systems and munitions.

Way back on page 20 or so, a US general said the longer this war goes on, Ukraine's army will become more modern and western, while Russia's will become older and more obsolete.
And here we are, Ukraine gearing up with Leopard 2 and M2 Bradleys, while Russia is reequipping with 1950s T-55s and WW2 Katyusha and 76mm anti-tank guns.

The President of Serbia said they had to move to the United States for weapons because Russia couldn’t deliver even the basics.
Leopards. Bradleys. Marders. The French light tanks. Just about everything we are sending has a main weapon on it that can shred everything but the few T-90s that Russia has left deployed.
