This might be a little tougher than Putin thought...

"Several houses and a local store caught fire in Borzya, a town in Zabaykalsky Krai in the Russian Far East, reports Russia’s Emergencies Ministry (“MChS”).

The fire started in the surrounding steppe, gradually moving into town.

By 6 p.m. on Monday, 13 locals, including five children, were left homeless as a result of the fire. Three single-family homes and a four-unit apartment building have burned down to the ground.

Every spring, steppe and forest fires break out across Russia, often spreading to towns and villages. Russia’s rural fire-fighting service is often too slow to get to remote areas, where locals are left to their own devices."

"Ukrainian forces hit Berdyansk airport with many Russian occupants, ammunition inside!"

"In Berdyansk (Zaporitsia Region), residents report explosions, reported Melitopol Mayor Ivan Fedorov.

“It’s loud in Berdyansk. Residents report hearing explosions in different parts of the city. We’re waiting for good news from public servants,” Fedorov wrote."

Russia isn’t going to pay shit regardless of outcome.

Nobody should have any delusions about that.

Their frozen assets will become forfeit and rightly given to Ukraine.

Russia will be tried and found guilty in absentia. Russkies better hope Ukraine never takes back Mariupol. It is one big ethnic cleansing war crime graveyard with more evidence of war crimes and crimes against humanity.

Well that's a far cry from the nearly 90k KIA that Ukraine is estimating since Christmas.
Maybe we have to hope most of the wounded are unable to return to combat. Here is the formula of wounded vs KIA. If the US is correct about the 100,000 wounded then Russia has probably suffered 30,000 dead.
( I just can't believe their medical care is any better than the rest of their armed forces. At least I hope not.)

"This is especially true for advanced democracies such as the United States. Consider that the typical ratio of those wounded to those killed in conflict has historically hovered around the 3:1 mark. With recent medical advances, however, the U.S. wounded-to-killed ratio today ranges anywhere from 10:1 to 17:1."
