This might be a little tougher than Putin thought...

In an interview with European media, the Chief of Staff of the Romanian Army, Lieutenant General Gheorghița Vlad, declared that Romanians should “worry and we must adopt the appropriate measures to be prepared” for war, along with other countries of the European Union.
Repeating globalist talking points, General Vlad said that he does not believe that Russia will stop at Ukraine and that it will target the Republic of Moldova next if it takes Ukraine. He added that there will be tensions in the Western Balkans as well.

"Emmanuel Macron calls on Europe to make “courageous” decisions to “accelerate” its aid to Ukraine, “no matter the efforts”

Oh, look, Russia interfering in an election. I can't wait to see what Vlad has up his sleeve for the US elections this year. Border hysteria. Trans hysteria. Ukraine is controlled by the globalists.

Was there someone in that truck, or did it just start rolling on its own?n
As bad as the flames were I was thinking it had no driver and started rolling on its own. At least I didn't see anyone behind it, though moving it away from the tent made sense.

I don't feel for them, but it was weird how calm/resigned those Russians were. They had to know more drones were out there, and that they were going to be targeted.

What do they have to contend with submersible drones?

We’re entering a time where the sea mine will activate and chase the target.

Our methods for resolving submarine threats are to find them as far from their targets as possible and prosecute.

If the Chinese manufacturer thousands of submersible drones to blockade Taiwan, that’s not easily dismissed. It’s 100 miles from China to Taiwan, it’s over 5000 miles from Hawaii to Taiwan.
This actually a pretty good point. China could make the south china sea untenable for the US Navy.

Actually...

A Senate inquiry has concluded that a Russian fake-news campaign targeted "no single group... more than African-Americans."

It says Russian operatives used social media to deter black people from voting and planted subtly racist content to incite conflict between ethnicities.

The report comes two years into the Senate Intelligence Committee's investigation into the 2016 election.

Social media firms say they are trying to prevent it from happening again.

Thousands of Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and You Tube accounts created by the St. Petersburg-based Internet Research Agency (IRA) were aimed at harming Hillary Clinton's campaign and supporting Donald Trump, the committee concludes.

Zelensky to oust Ukraine’s top general amid tension over new mobilization

KYIV — Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky told his top commander, Gen. Valery Zaluzhny, that he was firing him in a meeting on Monday, according to a senior official familiar with the conversation — a disruptive military shake-up amid Ukraine’s struggles on the battlefield and after months of friction between the president and the popular general.

Zaluzhny remains in his post for now, but a formal presidential decree is expected to confirm his ousting nearly two years into Russia’s invasion and as Moscow’s forces appear to be gaining the strategic initiative on some parts of the front.

On Monday, Zelensky’s spokesman, Serhiy Nykyforov, denied that Zaluzhny had been fired. “There is no subject of conversation,” Nykyforov told reporters. “There is no order. The president did not dismiss the commander in chief.”

Nykyforov on Wednesday did not immediately reply to messages from The Washington Post seeking any updated comment.

It is far from clear that any new commander will be able to improve Ukraine’s difficult situation on the battlefield without significantly more forces and weapons — precisely what Zaluzhny has demanded of Zelensky, adding tension to what was already a fraying relationship.

Actually, what? So, I missed a frequent target. The point it is they meddle in our elections, and every election in which they think they can sow discord.

Do these mines have a code or something to render them harmless?

Otherwise, wouldn't that make the South China Sea untenable for any navy, including the Chinese Navy?

They have sensitive aquatic high frequency microphones tuned to identify diesel motors machined with low tolerances and substandard assembly protocols and then whitelist those as Chinese Naval equipment.

i have to say, this piece was not exactly confidence inspiring (and I can't even imagine what next week's piece on the middle east holds):

To paraphrase;
1. PSU kid- we should use our aging military assets in UKR because this is what we bought them for in the first place, they're aging and it will give us an excuse to modernize, and we might even stop communism
2. Harvard kid- Russia is justified in their invasion since warm water ports and natural resources are, like, valuable, so we need to be accommodating
3. USMA kid (the sane one) - territorial acquisition through conquest is illegitimate, and we can't keep tucking tail on our allies
4. Brown kid - we should get out because all those tiktok vids that they post on places like GIAhort just aren't that interesting any more and don't have as many hotties, and i'm tired
