60 Minutes has been outstanding since Russia invaded Ukraine. Another good episode last night about how Lithuania is sheltering 2500 refugees from Russia. There was one heartbreaking story from a woman who had a special needs child in Russia. Care was tough, and the hospital she depended on could not stock the proper medicines. She spoke out, and was imprisoned. Her child predictably died.
This is the stuff the Putin fluffers of HORT, and in the GQP are openly supporting. Lithuania gets it. Like I said about Romania a page ago. Interesting breakdown by origin. Think some are from Bulgaria-they don't like to admit they are helping Ukraine.
Maybe 25,000 each would be more appropriate.

My goal is to let more people into America, because I think it's the right thing to do, and they are desperate to get here and we have a lot of work that needs done that these people do for us.
Ideally those people should be properly vetted and we should have a great idea of who is coming in.
There has been no major changes to immigration policy since the 80s and nobody is actually interested in this so these people desperate to get here will come any way possible.
How these people vote will be up to them - honestly they should align with Republicans in a lot of ways, they are much more socially conservative for example.

Pure speculation of course. IMO the Dneiper option is the same as conceding the war as far as Ukraine is concerned. But I fear there are some in Western Europe that could live with the rest of Ukraine as a buffer zone.

We have laws. They aren't being enforced. IT's made worse when a POTUS signs an EO saying laws won't be enforced, encouraging even more people to come here illegally.
