I look at immigration the same way I look at recreation drug use. if you don’t give people a legal option they are going to do it anyway and the cost to enforce it is much too high. Both financially and on the soul of our country.

Reuters story about Ukrainian kids taken from Russia, and coached to spout pro Russian talking points. The principle kid in the story has fled to Poland with no plans to go to Ukraine where some view him as a collaborator.

I can see this saving Russia some money but they have their own satellites so it seems strange that they might do this.
300000 + lives flushed down the drain. And even if Putin wins with the amount of losses they sustained. Russia has to start another conflict somewhere to keep the economic machine going. If they don’t have someone to fight. They’ll turn inward.
(The commentary may be pushing a certain point of view. But if Europe isn't scared yet, they should be.)

Why would the Biden Administration ask Ukraine to stop attacking oil refineries? That would be the dumbest thing I have read about this war.
Because oil is an international commodity, and Russia produces like 15% of the world supply.

I understand all of that. But quickest way to end the war is to bankrupt Russia
But they aren't exporting much to the West.
And other Western nations can choose to not sell to Russia's buddies.
