This might be a little tougher than Putin thought...

The Russians planted explosives to prevent Ukraine from trying to retake the reactor. It was probably some of those they set off but why? Trying to make Jake Sullivan freak and try and get Ukraine to withdraw?

Kyiv Independent I believe reported they put burning vehicle tires on the cooling towers.

Most likely to create confusion and panic.

Sounds like that is more likely.

Taking all of these Russian prisoners has to be devastating to Russia having already lost almost 600K to death or injury on the battlefield. Maybe let Putin know they will be detained in supermarkets, hospitals and schools to stop him from murdering innocent civilians.
You really think Putrid cares??

I have little doubt that he'd go after those places, killing his own men in the process, and then blame it on Ukraine (& other countries, via supplying Ukraine with weapons & artillery).

Ukraine could soon unleash robot dogs on its front lines, replacing soldiers for perilous missions like spying on Russian trenches or detecting mines.
At a demonstration in an undisclosed part of Ukraine, the metallic dog known as model "BAD One" stood up, crouched, ran and jumped according to commands transmitted by its operator.
Stealthy and agile, they could soon become an invaluable ally on the front line for an Ukrainian army that is short on manpower to repel the Russian invasion, its makers said.
Low on the ground and therefore difficult to detect, the robot dogs can use thermal imaging to inspect enemy trenches or the inside of buildings in combat zones.
"We have surveillance soldiers who get sent on reconnaissance missions (who) are most of the time very highly trained people, very experienced people (and) always exposed to risks," said the operator who called himself "Yuri", as he showed it off to AFP journalists.

I’d much rather be a Russian prisoner than taking my chances under some dipshit Russian officer sending me to certain death. I bet they are surrendering very quickly. This could be a big logistical issue for Ukraine if they didn’t account for mass surrender. But, a great problem to have.
If I were a Russian conscript I’d shoot my officer in the head at the first opportunity and surrender. Most of them know they aren’t fighting to defend Russia and their leaders don’t care about them.

I'm pretty sure that is already happening. The thing about stupid wars is it is always the troops that pay for politicians mistakes.

I want someone to off Putin. Get the job done.

I would say "abandoned vehicles" :)

"An armored personnel carrier drives through the city. Shot-up civilian cars are parked on the side of the road. Is that Israel? No, that's #Russland . And it's not Palestinian terrorists, but Ukrainian ones who are riding in this armored personnel carrier."
