This might be a little tougher than Putin thought...

It is Daines team. This follows my timeline not yours.

ā€œThis was a well reported call with over 250 people joining, and it was not a secure or classified briefing. The photo was shared before it was requested not to and well into the call, and it had no identifying information. We should be focusing on whatā€™s important here and thatā€™s supporting Ukraine. The only reason why anyone wants to make this an issue is partisan clickbait.ā€

The Sunday morning talk-show circuit is not bothering mentioning any of this because they know itā€™s just political circus. They would if they know they could. Twitter is full of communications majors trying to cry outrage at something right now. Stop trying to score political points during a crisis.

I hope these weapons get used well.

Awesome. The valor of those transporting these treasures, while being hunted ruthlessly, will be spoken of and admired in the years to follow. Unimaginable courage.

JFC. You can't help yourself. And apparently won't admit you are wrong.

But hey....keep digging.

What a fā€™n clown. How was this moron ever running our country. What a shitstain embarrassment in our history books.
What a great idea. How come nobody else thought of this tactic?
Maybe we should fly the fully armed planes over China first and then head on over to Ukraine. That should confuse the Russian radar folks.

The reason itā€™s an issue is because it gives the russias an opportunity to ping his feed and get his location to bomb him. Itā€™s timing issue idiot.
I think the last week or so have demonstrated the Russian Air Force ainā€˜t up to a task like that.
I donā€™t say this in defense of Rubio, heā€™s a neocon dope.
I say this because they appear pretty incompetent relative to their paper strength.

Its pretty clear they donā€™t have a General Horner.

Charles Albert Horner (born October 19, 1936) is a retired United States Air Force four-star general. He was born in Davenport, Iowa and attended the University of Iowa, as part of the Air Force Reserve Officers' Training Corps program. On June 13, 1958, Horner was commissioned into the Air Force Reserve. During the Vietnam War, he flew in combat as a Wild Weasel pilot and received the Silver Star. During Operation Desert Shield and Operation Desert Storm, he commanded the American aerial forces, as well as those of the American allies. During the Desert Shield phase of the conflict, Horner briefly served as Commander-in-Chief ā€” Forward of United States Central Command; while General Norman Schwarzkopf, Jr. was still in the United States. He currently serves on the board of directors for the United States Institute of Peace.

I would think there could be some electronic measures taken to prevent that, right?

OK, well that does change things just a tiny bit.

If true, color me "shocked" that this has not been more widely emphasized.

I genuinely donā€™t know what the United States is capable of.

Some of the ISIS guys tried to move satellite stuff away and run long cables, but the biggest fish all recorded their messages and communications then sent them out via USB drives and never touched satellite feeds.

I would venture somewhere between awesome and the technology we are purported to have in the Bourne/mission impossible movies.

Most Chechens hate Kadyrov. There is a very real chance of a mutiny there because they believe Russia sent them to die, which is probably true. The United States should be pushing this narrative in Muslim internet spheres, because it will create chaos for Putin.
Maybe the US should NOT gin up militant Muslims anymore.
Just sayinā€™.

You are a special kind of stupid. It would explain your political views.
the content of the meeting probably wasnā€™t of a critical nature from an informational standpoint. But what was pointed out to you was the ability to track the Ukrainian presidents location in real time. The potential for an air strike is there. No one cares about your amateur take on the Russians capability. If you are asked to help protect someone,,, you do. If someone on the intelligence committee doesnā€™t understand that he shouldnā€™t be there.
why would you tweet it anyway other than to look important or because you owe someone something. Either case it makes you wonder who rubioā€™s allegiance it to, our country, Putin, or himself.

Yeah, every once in a while a little bit of that stuff gets out. When the FBI was bitching about getting into locked iPhones and the NSA was all like, ā€˜Keep it down, we got you.ā€™

Absolutely crazy. I'm sure it will be a year(s) from now, but I'm going to be interested in stats on cost of equipment lost, lost economies, lost lives. I'm thinking totals are way higher than what we are being told.

How long did it take for the true human and material costs of the Great Patriotic War to be revealed?

Solid point. But we live in a different age.

Watching morning news shows today, and after watching pics and videos, I am just in shock and awe mode. This was a 1st world nation a week ago. Now, it reminds me of Iraq 2003-2004

Maybe it wasn't a crime, but were they asked to not send pictures of the meeting?

How would they track his location from a screen shot? Detail this please.

Again, this is just people trying to score political points. If it was something of actual substance, they will be censured. Let me know when that happens.
They know where it is, if they know he is in a zoom conference right then, they also know when he is there.
