.....those of you that are healthily debating me and others....you just want to acquiesce to a POS like Putin bc he has nukes? So when North Korea shoots a nuke at S. Korea or Japan; or if China invades Taiwan; or if India and Pakistan get into war...you don't want us to get involved?

No one is acquiescing to Putin. Putin finds himself in a world of hurt that's only going to get worse. He has to maintain control over a skeptical population, his economy is going to shit, and he's running into a massive brick wall called Ukraine. He would like nothing more than to draw NATO into the soup with him.
Have you seen what Ukraine has done to them? Their capabilities are a fraction of ours. And 70% of Russia's military is sitting out there on highways like sitting ducks
They won't get here. Unfortunately for you, or fortunately, we have defenses for that scenario.

NATO doesn't need to get involved directly. We should just keep pouring weapons to the Ukranians, wreck the Russian economy and try to help anyone that's willing to overthrow or kill Putin.
Really. We can intercept ALL of Russia's nuclear missiles? What if only 2 or 3 get through? That will make Ukraine look like paradise.
I don't think he's going to use nukes. Not at the moment. I don't think it's a slam dunk that if we escalate, we actually make things better for Ukraine. We might things worse for everybody, including Ukraine. We're not doing nothing by arming Ukraine, sending aid to Ukraine, providing Ukraine with intelligence, coordinating with our allies to do the same. We're not doing nothing by basically waging economic war on Russia. Tell me this, why should I be confident that intervening more directly wouldn't end up worse for everyone?

The sooner we can take Putin out of power, the sooner both the USA and Russia can fully de-nuke our arsenals.
Like I said prior, my stance has changed. I just think we can't let Russia be an example of "oh, they got nukes, so we have to be pussies" is a positive message going forward. Take Putin's army in Ukraine out, and that settles that.
