The Russians are throwing the units they pulled from the NE into the fray already.
This indicates to me they feel they have nothing to draw down from the borders.

I can think of many ways Ukraine doesn’t win especially with the war moving east in a terrain that isn’t conducive to guerrilla warfare. I’m not sure why Blinken would say that. Without tanks and air support, Ukraine is very disadvantaged in eastern Ukraine.
