how does putin benefit from crytoc? he has 600B$ apparently which if swift ban happens he will have to convert into btc or doge and hope he doesn’t take a haircut? and after that whom does he transact with? assuming here we aren’t talking about small transactions.

If Russia moves south to Lviv, and then to the Moldavian (constitutionally neutral) border Ukraine is geographically isolated from NATO reinforcement.
I would presume that's the aim if the Russians are doing anything that far west.
Russian troops are already operating in Moldavia.
