This might be a little tougher than Putin thought...

Hope this is not accurate!

"President Biden on Monday said the United States will not send rocket systems to Ukraine that could potentially reach into Russia, after reports that the administration was preparing to send long-range systems to the besieged European ally.

Multiple outlets had reported that the administration was leaning toward sending advanced long-range rocket systems to Ukraine, which is currently fending off an invasion from Moscow -- and to which the U.S. is providing significant economic and military support."

What are they paying these new recruits with? Rubles? What are the people buying with the money? Goods are becoming harder to find, and the black market will fill the gaps I suppose, but that will lead to more unrest in the cities.
The ruble is trading at levels consistent with 3-5 years ago, and better than the last two years. Since they have commodities to export they can support their currency as long as they don’t go crazy printing it.
They might have trouble getting Toblerone and other EU brands they had access to, but you keep acting as though they’ve been cut off from the world.
They haven’t. They’re going to have to import from China, Mexico, Brazil, India and the rest of the half of the world that hasn’t joined us in sanctions.

In South Korea fans always write “find strength” or “fighting” under articles to support their favorite celebrities.

Under a Putin story, the most upvoted comment was “Cancer cells, find strength!!!”

May be old video or just similar.

Russia propaganda but when you are right, you're right.

Maybe there is hope-they can probably live without the longer range rockets if they can get the standard versions.

LONDON, May 30 (Reuters) - Valentin Yumashev, the son-in-law of former Russian leader Boris Yeltsin who helped Vladimir Putin come to power, has quit his role as a Kremlin adviser, two people familiar with Yumashev's thinking told Reuters.

Yumashev was an unpaid adviser with limited influence on Putin's decision-making, but his departure removes one of the last links inside Putin's administration to Yeltsin's rule, a period of liberal reforms and Russia's opening up towards the West. Reuters

Turkish president’s bodyguards beat up US protestors after he met with Trump

Erdogan says Donald Trump apologised for protesters his bodyguards 'beat up

I suspect it's more in the realm of making Russia believe the EXACT opposite of what we're doing.

This is the definition of "covert" operations.
We're back in another Polish Migs situation. They'll get the launchers, but not those super long range missiles.

Also, these are NATO standard launchers. What that means is that Britain, Germany and other allies have versions of these same MLRS with interchangeable rockets in their inventories including the long range missiles....

Germany is worthless. Not worthy of leadership. Same with France.

Too bad we didn’t give Germany the Yugoslavia treatment and break it up into a half dozen or more smaller republics. The country is utterly useless in its current form. I suppose we should be grateful that they don’t have much of an army and the worst they can do is bankroll Putin’s war machine and go out of their war to impede efforts to arm Ukraine.

Still wishing this BS was true. NATO would probably not allow Poland to help Ukraine by stationing their troops there.

This is the offensive in the South that seems to be gaining momentum.
"M777 howitzers bombard the Russian army in Davydiv Brid (Kherson Oblast) preparing the advance of the Ukrainian units."
