I'm not sure that will be the case in this one. The Russians are poorly supplied and the Ukrainians have massive support. I hope this isn't just wishful thinking, but winter weather may tilt the playing field even more in favor of Ukraine.

You could be right...the Russians launched winter offenses in WW2. Just multiplies non-combat casualties. Attacking in sub zero temperatures does that. Russians holed up in their hovels and the Ukrainians traversing open country...even if you have good winter gear it's still cold as F.

except if they take back control of the House (at least) they'll do so on the back of more crazies like Gaetz, MTG, etc... and they'll continue to ramp up heat and voters to get Kevin who has no spine to take their side. Maybe the Senate stays in lock step. But if someone like Trump takes over and voices support for Russia (and it polls well) do you really think any Republican is going to stand against him? I still think at their heart most Republicans currently in office hate the current version of the monster they created, but they don't know how to stop it and they're hoping it just eventually goes away. But if it occupies the White House again, they'll back it because they're afraid of their own voters.

Gussing camo probably their standard summer uniform and the ID blue is easy to remove if actually needed to blend in with vegetation. I am guessing that is rare, especially in daytime where it may make a difference. What do Vets say?
