"President Emmanuel Macron on Thursday, March 7, said France would not rule out any option to support Ukraine two years into Russia's invasion, leaders of several major French political parties said. Speaking after the two-and-a-half-hour meeting, the party chiefs said the talks with Macron left them concerned, with some accusing him of using the conflict to boost his coalition's standing ahead of crucial European elections this summer.
The president had last week stunned many in Europe by refusing to rule out the dispatch of Western ground troops to Ukraine, pointing to Russia's hardening stance. And earlier this week Macron urged Ukraine's allies not to be "cowardly" in supporting the ex-Soviet country to fight off the Russian invasion."

Article about the first confirmed loss of a Ukrainian HIMARs platform. The Russians probably spotted it with a high altitude drone operating deep in Ukrainian territory, which is troubling and shows a lack of air defenses and radar, but the fact that this is the first loss is fairly good news.

Well, this is crazy, but somewhat expected. It is costing $922,000 per month to maintain one seized oligarch yacht. I assume some of this could be pared down. I have no idea why the crew is still employed. Honestly, this is a situation where I wish the US could be a little more autocratic. Tell the oligarch to pay us for it, or sell it and ignore any court filings. Or, strip it down and sell the parts.

Workers on large farms can be drafted but the farm can pay a 500 dollar bribe.
Small farmers are hiding indoors with the wife doing the work. One friend so far has kept a few steps ahead of the draft board.
Corruption is worse than before. Aid is stolen and sold including weapons. The consensus is the the US wants to give enough to keep the war going but no more. War is profitable.
