To all Jbo haters … (don’t click on this one)

You can kiss my wrinkled 82-year-old ass! 😊

I’m one of the morons who thought Fran was stupid putting JBo back at point. JBo has not only been playing better offensively either, his D has really stepped up lately also.
The pieces fit better.

The end of the game scared me a bit when UM turned up the pressure and there were too many turnovers but 5 3s is worth the trade off.

Aside from his play the past few weeks, one thing I have noticed about J-Bo these past few weeks is how many times he has talked about and shown his love for being a Hawkeye.

That was probably always true; but in the past, when he was getting in sparring matches with fans on Twitter, and beating the drum for NIL, the message ended up a little mixed. And this isn't to say he is wrong about the stupidity on display on Twitter, or the worthiness of NIL opportunities for players -- it's just refreshing to see him so clearly demonstrate his love for the Hawkeyes, and the Hawkeye community.

When he kissed the Tiger Hawk logo on senior night was a nice moment.

JBo has 1,975 points now - he will get to 2,000, not sure he can catch Marble

10 3-pointers from fourth all-time, 17 from JJ Redick in third place. He has three more games for sure and with a couple of post-season wins, third all-time is in reach.

141 points shy (Marble had 2116) so even with deep tournament runs, he'll probably end up a little short. Even at 15 ppg, it would take 10 games to get there. Guess that means Iowa needs to get to the BTT and NCAA title games. We got this, right? :)

Still, add another 2000 point scorer to the list. Even with the extra season, still quite an accomplishment.

Well...to the OP...have you ever had any takers?

I'll say it again...when Jbo is hitting threes and outscoring his defensive liability...then play him. If he's struggling offensively to get a shot off against an upper tier defensive player, and teams are isolating him on the defensive end, then you need Ulis/Toussaint in the game.

😂😂 no,,, no takers. 😂😂 and it was just a joke.
I don’t mind people criticizing the coach or the players. But some people go too far. Teams win and they lose, they play well and they play poorly. It’s part of the game. Can’t treat every loss like the sky is falling. Btw, I have been watching this game for 60 years, and respectfully, I think your assessment of Jbo is unfair. 🥃🥃

I can agree to disagree with you. No problem if you feel different. My thoughts are that in certain games when you have athletic guards defending him...and they are able to keep him from getting good shots off or shots in transition...more often than not, they are also attacking him defensively. There have been several games were he's really been attacked and hurt us defensively.

That doesn't mean he's not valuable or that he shouldn't play. It's just that when that's occuring...he should play fewer minutes.

I still don't see our season record being a whole lot different without JBo. Many of the shots last night were the same as when joe t was at the point, it was just tony dribbling and waiting for the action instead. He shot well again last night but had 1 assist and 3 turnovers. If we don't shoot 53 from 2 and 58% from 3 that's a different game.
Yeah I know if's and buts...... If we shoot that well, Murrays in particular, it doesn't matter who plays where.

makes you wonder if his hips are finally feeling good again?
Surgeries can take alot out of you as a player. He's definitely picked up the defensive intensity and his ball distribution has been real good lately. The shooting speaks for itself. Been watching Caitlin apparently...in short he's been good at the exact time we are getting hot as a team....
