Today on twitter.

Yes, but his gloves are tinged with gold, the number is mostly black, and the most prominent shoulder striping is gold. Maybe Iowa's the odd one in a good way.

Now hopefully ISM and Smith get lots of targets and highlights.

The guy is a self described "popular loaner" he doesnt want to be the 4 star who goes to OSU, he wants to blaze a new path. This offense just needs to show him he will be showcased. We will be in this one until the end. Now it's super important we recruit j.britt equally as hard.

Must really like how they are sitting with recruits. I'm a bears fan and I pray there is nothing the hawks try to learn from them.

He's saying that he likes Iowa a lot and wants to see improvments to Iowa passing game. Or at least that's what I got from his comment

It takes guys like Bell to improve the wr passing game as Iowa has high level tight ends which succeed in the passing game and mid level running backs who succeed at Iowa in the run game.

Bell has to realize he will be the reason why Iowa’s passing attack will improve and take the step to the next level. Go Hawks!

Need to show a willingness to pass closer to 50/50. Last year we ran the ball 58% of the time. That's not balanced.

(If the play call Is 50/50 but gets checked to a run and we end up 58/42 that's still not balanced.) Good news Brian can show this year a willingness to pass the ball more D.Bell is going to let everyone play their hand before making a decision.

Yep last year Iowa’s best unit on offense was the rbs Wadley/Butler Iowa’s wrs where young te was unproven

Gophers picked up 4 commits, good for them. While everyone was talking about how great the visit was, the guy we care about tweeted this.

Solomon Brown potentially committing to goofers tonight. 5 commits on the day. I'm anticipating some decommits.

Cant believe Paschal is on board with this but whateves. As long as brock doesnt commit. Something to be said for closing 6 guys in 1 day. That staff must be hitting them with "commit or get passed" sometimes you have to Hard close but as any salesman will tell you, that's also how you get alot of returns and buyers remorse.

I get the sense it was a high pressure weekend up North. Ultimately, Paschal can't decide for Brown, but would likely think Iowa was a better choice.

Good points. Only 1 of 5 Iowa was really after with brown. Not like isu who had offered all of them plus none were big time highly rated guys were commits were a blow to us.

As for decommits couple of things that you usually see when someone does it are like in this case committing right after your visit and not giving it least 24 hrs until after making a decision. Guy who doesn’t take all their visits or those who commit without even stepping foot on campus. I guess one could argue too another reason is getting an offer from a higher profile school like MAC commit going to Big 10 or SEC school.

The old adage "if it seems to good to be true, it probably is" seems relevant here. Alabama doesnt get 6 in 24 hours. At like 3 or 4 that's a good weekend. At 6 its probably a couple kids who felt cornered and just needed to say what they said to get out of the situation. Seems like putting people in compromised positions is par for the course up there.

My guess is about half these kids who committed with the Gophers today will sign with another school when the time comes. I also think Fleck probably strongly encourages them to commit, but when they get out of Dodge they have time to reconsider and make a wiser choice. Either way, there is still plenty of fish in the recruiting landscape, and we will get good ones in the end.

Maybe all the kids did really love Minnesota and will stay committed, and if that's where they want to play good for them and good luck.

But we've already seen this since Fleck got there. He pressures kids into committing on the spot, they give in, and then later they have a number of decommits. I'll be very surprised if they all stick.

I believe ISM or someone last recruiting class basically said this is exactly what happens. They visit and maybe aren't directly told they have to commit, but are very pressured into doing so before leaving campus or else they might not have a spot.

Noah Shannon coming in this year and ism both were gophers at one point which we learned what happens with fleck from ism and I believe alot of people predicted Noah Shannon would decommit and become a Hawkeye knowing flecks history...will that happen here? Who knows

Don't forget Trey Creamer as well came to his senses and jumped ship.

Wasn't there a recent article about how close he is to his mom? That would be my guess.

I really hope Brock chooses the Hawks, but no matter what I have to appreciate how humble and mature he has been throughout this whole process. He seems like he wants to do his homework and make the best decision for his whole life, not just the football part of it.

That said, Iowa being the closest to home of all his suitors gives me a warm and fuzzy feeling.
