I just hope the kid didn't shake Harbaugh's hand when committing , We all know where that hand has been.
Solid work on the board this weekend Harb. My sister got married and it was nice to be able to check in and stay updated. Dont let the Phallus Heads get you down, you just followed suit with Britt. I still think he is a hawk.
I'm not worried about them. I know I can be called out when I make a bold prediction or statement. Doesn't shake me to my core like people might think. I've said before this is just a message board, not a real life or death situation.
I'm hopeful he commits and feel like he may be holding off on posting Iowa visit pictures in order to use them in a sick commitment edit. We'll see. If he doesn't join the Hawks the Earth will still spin on its axis. Go Hawks!
what is your take on what the coaches will do if Britt does not commit. will they stand pat with the 3 they have use that scholarship on a more important position of need.
or do they wait to see who pops up this fall?
not worried more curious than anything. scholarships are limited so to me it would make sense to get the best possible player reguardless of position, but that's my opinion.
I think he ment, as you were asking the question, Blair was announcing the commit. It just happened to be perfect timing. I think they have a list and will stick with it and reevaluate later. The only person I think that is a "take at all cost" is Bell. I think you are in for good days Red this staff seems to be recruitting st a higher level. As one of our posters would say "pray for surf".
with the commitment of Belton and Britt Iowa jumped all the way to #25.
long way to go yet. but it is nice to see the class in the top 25. it is getting better. get Bell and Goodson and the class ranking should solidly in the 30-34 range, a far cry from what the class ranking of #59 for the RSSR's.

Get Bell and Goodson and the recruiting services can say Iowa is ranked last and I will be ecstatic with this class, I am very pleased right now as I bet the Coaches are.

Just now understanding that not only is Britt a teammate of Bell's, but incoming freshman Brents came from Warren Central as well. That's certainly a huge plus-sign in terms of bringing Bell into the Black and Gold.
I'd like to highlight that both Britt and Bell's only mutual offers/interest as of this day were from both Purdue and Indiana...with all that being said, I believe we are in a three horse race with OSU and PSU for David Bell.
I predict/hope David Bell will be a Hawk.
Unfortunately (or Fortunately depending on how you look at it) Iowa will not finish that high, as they will have great quality, but a smaller quantity this year. Had they had a few more rides to give this year. This year they had the luxury, and difficulty, in being selective as they have been finishing out the class. Had to turn away some studs, but are getting the guys they determined to be the higher priorities.
Dont be surprised if it gets to 19-20 by the end. That was the headacratching part about JB. I 100% agree there are positions of need being filled with solid talent.

there are 0 2* recruits and I see only 1 2* recruit that may commit and that is Baker. this class has 4 5.7 3*'s. with Miller and Endres 5.6 3* recruits while they are 4*'s on 2 other sites, give them their 4th * and the team ranking goes up.
for this class to end up in the 40's will take some major reducing of players ranking by dropping them to lower ranked 3* or dropping them to 2*'s.

.596% would put them at #30 out of 111. In these days of grade inflation D- seems harsh.

Yeah thinking same thing. It’s one thing to write something like this that’s garbage. Even worse is the writer responding back to posters who disagree in a juvenile. If the DI is smart this would be the last time this guy gets something posted.
I stopped reading when he equated win percentage to academic grades. I did skip right to the comments and was not disappointed, that guy is going to have a rough life as a "journalist" if he keeps that up.

Where did you see the WV crystal balls? on Hinsider he has 4 predictions to Iowa. The most recent is from a West Virginia 247 site guy. I'm convinced he is a Hawk.
