Today on twitter.

In terms of "beef" ... the 2018 Iowa OL could end up being on of the "bigger" O-lines we've had in a while. Both Wirfs and Jackson are mountains for men. Furthermore, Paulsen isn't a small chap (around 305 lb) ... and, if healthy, he's competing for a starting OG spot. Render has some heft too (307 lb) ... and he's likely our starting C. The other top candidates are Reynolds and Banwart ... and both are in the mid 290s.

I've never been one to care too much about the size of our OL ... because our zone blocking scheme tends to hinge more upon toughness, athleticism, and foot-speed. However, if the guys are executing well ... it doesn't hurt to know that they're going to be tough to move around.

Should be a solid group. Hopefully they can stay healthy

Thought you got a bad case of the banned? Or did I try reading HR drunk late at night again?

Funny/odd story. (I did pick up a pretty awesome Twitter follower out of the deal :) ) We will all just move on. Speaking from experience drunk message boarding is never a good idea. It's a good way to end up with "wasnt drunk" as part of your handle.

It's interesting because a number of programs, like Minnesota, have been hitting Georgia for a while now. It's nice to see that the Hawks are finally developing strong enough ties to the region to start landing guys. It just goes to show you how much groundwork you often have to lay before it starts paying recruiting dividends.

I would have put Geno Stone instead of Hooker. I don't think Hooker is a wild card.
No wild card is a know stud.. stone will be a surprised, and to think Kent state about held onto him!!! Good thing he preformed well as a freshman

You right about Hooker. He is no wildcard and could very well have a Draft decision to make by next winter. Hope Stone turns out the same way cuz hes a playmaker.
