J brock has really changed his tone of late on Twitter. I think he has some serious regret.
It's interesting how both Iowa and Iowa State opted to land RBs other than Brock. When Brock is speaking about his failures ... that's suggesting to me that he's pointing out off-field stuff he's done. It's foolish that he'd call people who take issue with what he's done "haters" ... because ultimately if he did negative stuff that are now considered his "failures" ... that's on him ... it's not the fault of those whom he's now considering "haters."

ISU will still take him.

This is pretty cool. The Seeker, the world's first robotic quarterback, was recently created by University of Iowa graduates and Dubuque natives and is an up and coming start-up getting off of the ground. Their first customer was the University of Iowa and they seem to be breaking into the CFB, NFL and even High School landscapes now.

It appears to track the athlete in real-time and deliver accurate passes without needing anyone their to feed the machine. This allows players to train alone for the first time ever, which could be a huge help for Iowa's receiving corps. Let's give these guys some help!

Crystal balls rolling in for ISU. Would be a pretty outstanding RB haul for them to get Brock and Hall in the same class.

It is, but I will be more worried about ISU when they start beating out good schools for O/D linemen. I don’t pay much attention to their recruiting so maybe they are. It always seems like they gave good skill players.

I respect most of your posts as you often times provide insight on many topics plus I enjoy your opinions but this one I'm a little bit upset at. Your whole comment is built on assumptions that Brock has done something wrong. Iowa has said they rescinded because of having two backs in the fold. In Brocks tweet he clearly states failures not negative stuff. I feel for the young man because he's having to learn a life lesson and I hope he grows from it. But to say it's a result of negative stuff without knowing the facts is just not fair. Maybe there are truly haters and maybe he isn't foolish to call them so. I just think at this point we should no longer be dissecting a young man's posts for anymore than what's on the surface. Especially one that will probably be no longer in any of our minds once the recruiting cycle is over. Again I just think it's wrong to assume that he's done negative things without knowing the facts. We should just move on and like the staff has.

My post was premised more on the hypothetical and/or conditional scenario that his "failures" are tied to off-field actions. If they're not ... then no worries. However, if they are ... then all I was saying is that there is a society-wide tendency for people to not OWN their own misdoings ... and I really despise that trend. In this latter scenario ... if Brock is, in fact, not owning up to his own shortcomings ... then I'm simply criticizing it (nothing more, nothing less).

Also, I speculated upon the possibility that his failures are tied to off-field actions based on other posts I've read before ... things suggesting as much. It doesn't imply truth to any such rumors ... but I'm not explicitly condemning Brock anyhow ... my comments are all premised on the conditional.

Defensive line recruiting is and Offensive line recruiting have both made a night and day turn with the new staff.

As it should all of Kirk’s best years those are the 2 strongest units.. 02,04,09... 15 may be the exception but then again the oline may have been the best unit

This is the part where we remind everybody that this is most likely a high school girl who is under the age of 18 and that they may wish to measure their responses accordingly.

Umm. I guess I fail to see what was inappropriate about any of that. If you perceivex something sexual out of that you may want to consider your own perversions.

If you watch Amani's interview, I love how much he emphasizes the importance of the guys playing together as a unit. Iowa's best defenses are the ones where the play the best team ball. If we ended up seeing on the field what Amani is preaching ... our D might end up being far better than any of us expected (and most of us likely have pretty high expectations for the D too).
