I think most financial analysts would say we ended the Biden presidency eerily close to a stock market correction, and most of them would have agreed it was bound to happen within the next 1-2 years. So instead of it happening to Trump mid-term, he took the reigns and control and is helping to flush it out now, early in his presidency.
It's not how you start, it's how you finish. I think he'd rather have more control over when it happens so he's stimulating things so it happens now. If might take a year to flush out, but we'll be smooth sailing in year 3 and 4 of the Trump era.
