You cannot view Tweets if you do not have the link
You also cannot view threads, only the first post
If you go to any X profile, it only shows you posts from 1-2 yrs ago; none of the recent stuff is accessible. You can only get that if you know the exact post # of the tweets.
Literally why every government agency should leave X (and should have over a year ago); they are not available to anyone who does not "subscribe". Bluesky is available to anyone w/o an account and should be the default for any official agency, unless Elno alters his site to allow full access.
All you need to do is use Muted words and curate the For You feed better.

One of the things happening the last 11 days is an unspoken bond of moving on and being done with corporate news media, closely following and caring about politics and shutting down all interaction with MAGA types online and in the real world is taking place on the Democrat side.
A sort of let it burn, non ****s to give, no longer watching the circus and interacting with the clowns type movement.
The last part is also starting to get underneath the MAGA skins as we disappear from their lives online and in real life and they are unable to keep their schtick going and we seemingly no longer care.
The ignores here, dumping Twitter, finding Bluesky, and turning off cable news certainly have made my life brighter. Have fun MAGA, don’t **** it up too bad.

I just follow the folks I know from other sources, and the sources they follow, because they are sane and reliable.

That said, I would not have thought closing the loop even further would be the lesson to be taken from the election.

Meh. I think that is a way over simplification of the situation. One side is in a cult, a true confederacy of dunces, that incessantly name calls, bullies, pukes out endless conspiracy and simply just want to be trolls. It’s like like the whole cornerstone of their cult - owning the libs.
The other side is sick of their schtick and infantile trolling and post election is walking away from them. We are done “debating”. They won so good luck with the next four years. Seriously- we are basically “show us what you can do, we will watch eating popcorn”. And most of us I can honestly say are finding out really quick we should have taken this approach years ago instead of exhaustingly trying to engage with them, over and over and over.
This place is way better after my ignore bonfire party last 10 days. Bluesky is way better not having my eyes bleed reading the ridiculous attacks in every single post, so many full of hate, racism, bigotry and misogyny (to zero consequences) or having an algorithm purposely shoving MAGA influencers and far far right wing ads down my throat. We can think for ourselves-always have.

I get it and I’m there with it, just disappointed in humanity that we’re here. We’re generally better when we actually have to expose ourselves to others, but there’s a reason why we’re where we are.

Been in a Tesla those override latches are impossible to find. A lot of the cars safety features are not very intuitive especially if you are in a state or panic. Very sad.
If only there were a "standard" in place for easily identified safety latches....

How do you not understand this data:X actually became more representative of the real world, which some people simply can't handle:
1. democrats generally have a higher education so they seek out information.
2. twitter had the vast majority of this market cornered.
3. that forces D's to use it.
4. Eloon now forces everyone to see his batshit stuff and other rightwing propaganda.
5.. the fact R's went up is because confirmation bias. eloon pushes crap the R's agree with, so they've flocked to the place to feel good.

Elon bought Twitter and ended the suppression.
