The middle 80% are on X. Free and open discussion / debate.
Some liberals moved over sure but now I can tailor my feed to pretty much be all sports and pet videos without porn ads or Abdul6969696969 trying to sell something in the comments.
Honestly the amount of butthurt from MAGA on this is funny. “Hey the people we want to call slurs and cucks are leaving!!”

This. Not too much politics on there really and people actually respond on topic, follow back, like and don’t pick fights. It was more than just politics that is broken on X (though that was by far the worst due to Musk really going overboard as election neared on a clear hard right push in algorithms, obnoxious advertisements and not at all fighting bots). It is just a refuge of trolls and nasty people who want to fight and name call on every topic. Plus incessant advertisements and overrun with bots and scammers.
Reminding me of old days where Twitter was really just for finding people with similar interests and sharing your takes on them. Nothing some hellscape of non stop arguments and trolling people.
Ok, they have block groups you can subscribe and it will blow away entire list of maga, nazi etc. also not missing the constant stream of Trum grift ads

Annoying post-Musk I’d have to sign up for a Twitter account to see breaking weather posts from the National Weather Service or an update from my local sheriff’s department.
I am on X and follow a lot of golf, movies, nature, science, baseball, and no politics. There is some disagreements on those topics. There are trolls on most topics. Guessing you just want to complain about X due to Elon. I had very few election ads.
Do you call people trolls if they don't agree with you?

The thing about Twitter versus Bluesky is that the right needs liberals on Twitter to make it feel worthwhile, whereas the left doesn’t need conservatives on Bluesky to make it feel worthwhile.

I miss legitimate local news, weather and sports though. Used to be able to read tweets without an account but Musk changed that.
