Remember when Des Moines waterworks sued 3 counties NW of DSM for similarly polluting groundwater emptying into the Raccoon? Remember how far that got….but the lawyers got paid.

The Iowa Legislature tried to disband the Des Moines Water Works. This would be in a Federal Court. Different. The Gulf Dead Zone is very real and very much a tort

Iowa also doesn't have very stringent pollution control. This is well known.
 
Guys, the solution is marshland filters before the runoff gets to the river. It's not hard.
