Ulis and Perkins

Team really needed a couple impact transfers to bridge the year for the younger guys. Keegan likely leaves this year. Hard not to think this is a missed opportunity for Fran. I know he doesn't like recruiting over guys with transfers but you have to do it when your younger guys aren't ready. This team has too many holes where even a likely lottery pick can't even overcome. Guys like Connor, Ulis, Perkins and Rebraca would barely get minutes with any of the top 6 teams in the B1G if any minutes. Big reason why Iowa is still without a quad 1 win.

Perkins can turn it around...he's a backup player though.

Ulis shooting is disappointing. JoeT has progressed far ahead of Ulis.

At the 2G with choice of Perkins, Jbo, CMAC
.....I choose none of the above. Time to try to get Sandfort/Kris into starting lineup....Sandfort might stink it up, but he is the only guy on team that has size to get his 3pt shot off and the skills to make them. Needs the PT, just like Kris needed PT to blossom.

I was never super impressed with ulis.

Tony.....man what happened to him?!?!
Tony was maybe our 2nd best player the first 10 games of the season. He’s border line worthless out there now.

Ulis has been nothing but a disappointment his whole career. I don’t see much of a future for his game for his final 2 years.

Yes,

The team is 9th or so in the league with all the wins agains bottom feeders with lone exception of a decent win over a middle of the pack Indiana team at home.

With Keegan as #1 or #2 player in B1G, JoeT looks to be an above average PG for B1G.
That means the 3 other starters JBO, Rebraca, and PMAC collectively are WELL below average B1G players.

.

I haven't given up on either guy.

Ulis had a rough game, I agree. However, he's a guy that gets to the rim and creates for others. When he's in, he's there with Perk, Connor, Kris and usually Keegan but that spot rotates. The lane is packed because there are two shooters on the floor. It's hard to create that way. Still love how hard he plays and what he brings defensively.

I think this is pretty generous.

The Hawks just don't have the horses to compete against the top teams in the league.
