Hey, lets take a shot at CC while we go full racism, shall we?

"And in a game built by Black women, it matters that the faces of the future look like the faces of the past."

I'm sure a lot of people thought the same thing about white males and baseball back in the pre Jackie Robinson days.

A white woman is setting us all straight about black women and basketball. She also said that trash talk broke out between Clark and Reese, which isn't accurate. Such a BS argument. She totally diminishes Plum, Ionscue(sp) and Clark not to mention Nancy Lieberman
The writer should be required to take a class about Diversity Equity and Inclusion.

Unfortunately, we are not completely free from any racism in this world....but it is also true that some people "NEED" there to be racism, whether real or imagined, so they can then lecture the rest of us with their inane platitudes. Basketball is neither a black nor white game, to say nothing of any other skin colors, unless some idiot tries to make it so.

Play the game, enjoy the great play and expanded attention being brought to the game. Knock it off with the incessant attempts by some to make it something it isn't.

A’ja Wilson, arguably the best player in the world, whose award résumé is longer than a Walgreens receipt, doesn’t have near the star power of Clark.

She blew this joke as well.
CVS has the long receipts. Walgreens is standard length like any other store. This is more egregious than the race baiting.

This is clickbait for the triggered and appears to working like a charm. Fox News has made billions around a similar philosophy of manufacturing outrage. This writer seems to understand how to get eyeballs on her writing.

You're right, it's only fox news and only the right.

Oh, and you don't think CNN, CNBC, NYT, Washington Post, etc. haven't made billions stirring outrage? All the media has an agenda to get viewership.

Ever since George Floyd's death, everything has become about race. Hell, you better capitalize the word Black or you will get in trouble.

Hell, Cooper DeJean was asked at the NFL Combine about possibly being the first White starting NFL cornerback since 2002. He sidestepped that race question as best as one could. You can either play the position or you can't, regardless of race.

Why can't we celebrate the player without bringing up their skin color? Caitlin is a great player who has changed EVERYTHING when it comes to women's basketball. JuJu Watkins is a great player, too. Who gives a damn about their race? Unfortunately, too many people do, including the author of this article. Hell, ESPN has become ridiculously bad when it comes to race baiting.

Current story title:

Women's basketball needs faces of future to be Black. Enter JuJu Watkins and Hannah Hidalgo

Imagine the OUTRAGE if it were this:

Women's basketball needs faces of future to be White. Caitlin Clark has Proven it
It’s a stupid article but I really think it’s designed to be clickbait. You are right that if an author stated the future of women’s basketball needed to be white, we would have people freaking out like we have in this thread.
