Oh yeah. I'll be bitter for a long time.
Any great game/highlight going forward, I'll be saying.... "But not good enough for the Olympics?..."
The "leaders" for the team USA women's bball can shove it.

The "Old Guard" female heads response was, "who would you leave off" to put CC on. As if that wasn't an option.
In retrospect, anyone not named Wilson & Collier would have been the answer. Again, for years we were told how great these players and the league was. Geno, Taurasi, ESPN Female Heads etc. were all wrong. The only real discussion now would be who you would start your franchise with now. Wilson and CC would be the only conversation. Guarenteed, the Female Heads would choose Wilson and dismiss any other argument. Anyone else with a brain and a financial interest would choose CC. I wish it was known, earlier in the year, when one GM said they would trade their entire team for her. That is one smart GM.
Diana Taurasi, for sure, should have been left off the Olympic team. But she is all about herself and wanted that 6th gold medal, where no one will ever top that record.
Taurasi, Griner, Gray are three obvious choices. Taking only one point guard who was about 60% recovered from an injury is not good team selection.This. Easiest answer ever. She barely played and was only on the team because of her past accomplishments. Oddly, CC's past accomplishments weren't considered a reason to put her on the team.
