Utah St postgame review - good, bad, pretty good?

They were knifing in their linebackers avoiding blocks all day. They were hitting gaps in our zone blocks. Could have been stunts or delayed blitzes. Most of that is mental mistakes, but Utah States DC had a very good game plan.

Yeah, they were knifing through on runs. I think it was often them recognizing run so quickly, it almost looked like a blitz sometimes.

On straight blitz in passing downs, Iowa did a very good job. Either that, or they only blitzed once or twice.

Says every pessimistic fan ever….and yet somehow this fan base has witnessed the 16th most wins over the last 10 years….something isn’t connecting.

Exactly. For all the doom and gloom, Iowa is one of only FIVE teams in the P5 to win at least 8 games each of the last five years. Bama and Georgia being two of the others, BUT Iowa sucks evidently......
