I'd like to say yes, but I'm not sure what the bigger conferences mean for our chances.

Especially the schedule and strength of schedule.

What’s the story on Hutchinson. Can’t shoot or just looks the part but doesn’t have it?

Too early to vote on this.
Have no idea what the newcomers look like.
Andy Katz had Iowa pegged as 17th in league a month ago so making the tourny would be an amazing feat.

I gave it a "Yes". At least they'll have Thelwell who has NCAA Tourney experience. Freeman, Sandfort, Harding, and Dix should all be better.
I'll play devils advocate, Thelwell will not beat out Harding for the starting point guard. Thelwell will back up both Brock and Josh Dix and still play more then 20 minutes a game. Brock is better in all facets of the game except he's 3 inches shorter, not that big a deal in my world. No one is wrong until the season starts and everyone could be right. The season can't start soon enough!

LOL at the idea that this team wouldn’t make the tourney assuming they all stay healthy. People need to keep in mind that were some huge additions by subtraction from the roster this offseason and that Fran has done an excellent job with his portal finds. With the additions of Traore, Thelwell and Tadjo, this team will be a lot more athletic than any Hawkeye squads of recent vintage, while still having a good number of shooters.

Barring a significant amount of missed games by key players, I think this team is far more likely to finish in the top 5 in the league than miss the tourney.

JFC, no f'ing way Thelwell doesn't start. Harding may up his minutes to 15 per game. But he will only be a back up to Thelwell & Dix. He ain't nuthin more than a back up dancer. get over it.

Losing Krikke, Perkins, and Patrick will help Iowa's chances for next season with the new additions. No Patrick will make it more watchable for sure

Still seems like a team that will struggle to shoot the 3

You need a third option of no opinion. I just have no idea. They do not seem to but men's college basketball isn't all that great right now, so who knows.

Is Traore supposed to better than Dembele? Last year I thought Dembele had a lot of upside...

I voted "No", but I really don't know.

I certainly think the roster is better overall. But, who will improve? Will the new guys contribute more than the losses (they certainly should). And, I really don't know anything about the new B1G next year.

Hopefully the team will gel.

Pac-12 teams are always undervalued in hoops, so the ones we're adding will make it that much harder to get in-conference wins.

Unless we learn how to play team defense in the next few months, I'm a solid no.

I like Brock but I don't think Thelwell came in to sit behind a sophomore. Thelwell won 91 games, more games than anyone in Morehead State history. I believe he starts with Brock getting a lot of minutes.

6'5" SG Josh Dix (JR)

I think that's a pretty good starting 5

I like the roster, so yes!

Now, question is when we get off the plane to the first round site, does the pilot stay with the plane, refuel and get it ready to go back to IC the same day?
