This is a head scratcher. Must be trying to cash in on the NIL.

Only returning starters would be her and Hidalgo. Prob saw this as the window for a natty.I'd assume a school like Notre Dame has more then enough NIL to keep her. So I think it has to be another reason she's leaving.
Not a head scratcher at all. She'll make more next year wherever she goes than she would in the WNBA.This is a head scratcher. Must be trying to cash in on the NIL.
She will get as much or more from another college would be my guess
And be on a contender. Smoke right now is UCONN.She will get as much or more from another college would be my guess
Ouch!! Ha. Well if she wants to win one I don't see a better place than uconn. Sarah strong is the real deal. Don't think we have a shot as this could be a money move too.I think it's great she's opting to play another year, but switching schools is the kind of karma move that blows a knee out.
Maybe stay at ND and build your ship there? Nothing worse for the college game than stars leaving the schools/fans that got them where they are.Ouch!! Ha. Feuerbach will start and play a lot of minutes for sure. We need a point guard who can both create and score similiar to Lucy. Will probably be impossible to find someone as good as she was.Stremlow is not a point guard. She is a role player at the 3 spot. She plays real hard, can rebound some, but hasn't proved that she can score consistently and is very error prone passing the ball being out of control often.
We need 2 or 3 portal pick ups and with over 900 available, I'm hopeful Jan and coach's can find the right combination to play with Ava, Hanna and Deal. Feuerbach and McCabe can compete with new players for playing time. We need a 1, 3, and 4 in my opinion.
Apparently there has been a rift between her and Hidalgo this year, and it's only those 2 returning.Maybe stay at ND and build your ship there? Nothing worse for the college game than stars leaving the schools/fans that got them where they are.
Probably LSU or something like that. It's where girls from already good programs seem to go for some reason.
I could see SC making a push to cover the year they don't have Juju.Probably LSU or something like that. It's where girls from already good programs seem to go for some reason.
Interesting. Wonder if ND will be back at the top again with Hidalgo.Apparently there has been a rift between her and Hidalgo this year, and it's only those 2 returning.
They're going to need a lot of portal help.Interesting. Wonder if ND will be back at the top again with Hidalgo.
Yeah, that's what I was thinking--wondering if ND goes all-in on the portal game. They're going to need a lot of portal help.
In a recent halftime interview, Olivia talked about their communication not being good for parts of the year...the way she worded it struck me as a little more negative than what you usually get in those exchanges. Maybe we'll get an investigative piece someday.Apparently there has been a rift between her and Hidalgo this year, and it's only those 2 returning.
Could Miles to TCU push Maddie Scherr back in the portal (Iowa seemed to be the favorite for her last year before Olsen was in the portal)? Scherr redshirted this year at TCU.Apparently TCU is the favorite for Miles according to Skim Milkey(Twitter insider)
Closer to her hometown and entering her Junior year with Crooks and Brown.
So where do we go from here. The girl from Rutgers yes she'd just be a sophomore is a beast. But brings baggage. Ultimately kicked off the team
yeah, but there is a reason that ISU has rotation players leave pretty consistently. That said, the Arizona coach seems to have a similar personality to Bill Fenelly, so maybe Williams is used to it.Closer to her hometown and entering her Junior year with Crooks and Brown.
If not I just looked t'yana todd out of Boston college and ashley hawkins out of gardner Webb are our next best optionsSo where do we go from here. The girl from Rutgers yes she'd just be a sophomore is a beast. But brings baggage. Ultimately kicked off the team
I'd love miles but I don't see that happening. Same with the girl from fsu if she's still unsigned.
I really hope were in contact with that girl from utah.
More money! This is a head scratcher. Must be trying to cash in on the NIL.
Layla haysHas Jan gotten a commitment from anyone since she became coach? I know Lucy and the three freshmen were already committed under Lisa, and appear to be honoring their commitments through the coaching change, but has Jan actually gotten anyone to say yes since becoming coach?

Sad to see Guyton leave.
Todd is interesting. Also check out Woolston. If not I just looked t'yana todd out of Boston college and ashley hawkins out of gardner Webb are our next best options
My problem with her was once she got the ball she never passed it off. Would shoot or drive to the basket and get it blocked or turn it over. That or the coaches , who have been there all year aren't counting on her handling the role next season. Frankly the more she played this season the worse she played..
That's right. She had a lot to learn. She drove right into trouble time and again. Maybe her next coach will break her of it. To me her size is always going to be an issue. She may learn to work around it like Molly D. did, but she has a ways to go.My problem with her was once she got the ball she never passed it off. Would shoot or drive to the basket and get it blocked or turn it over.
True. She had yet to grasp the facilitator role of a PG.My problem with her was once she got the ball she never passed it off. Would shoot or drive to the basket and get it blocked or turn it over.
She is young and had a lot of upside. We will miss her.My problem with her was once she got the ball she never passed it off. Would shoot or drive to the basket and get it blocked or turn it over.
If a decent transfer is signed in the near future, Guyton (and her 4 points & 1 assist per game) will immediately become an afterthought and she will be long forgotten before the school year ends. She is young and had a lot of upside. We will miss her
I don’t think it was ever the plan for Deal to be the primary point guard. If a decent transfer is signed in the near future, Guyton (and her 4 points & 1 assist per game) will immediately become an afterthought and she will be long forgotten before the school year ends.
I actually welcome this development because it substantially increases the probability that Addison Deal commands the PG spot on Day1.
I don’t think it was ever the plan for Deal to be the primary point guard.
I don't know why not but conceding for the sake of argument that you’re correct, there are numerous quality players currently available in the transfer portal which are an immediate upgrade over Aliyah Guyton.I don’t think it was ever the plan for Deal to be the primary point guard.
