I’m getting worried about the B1G overall. I’m not sure what to think about the quality of the conference this year.

This Michigan State/Penn state game is a great example of what can happen any night. It’s also a great example of why Iowa fans shouldn’t go nuts with every Iowa loss.

I’m sure there are some MSU fans upset and griping but I’ll bet it pales in comparison to how Iowa fans griped. We’ve won three straight games and if you counted the number of posts after all three of those games it wouldn’t be nearly as much as after the last loss. When Iowa loses the boo birds are out in full force. When Iowa wins the boo birds don’t make a peep. They won’t support anything this program does.

I didn't think rational people like you existed

But, even after a win, there will be these types of threads:

* so and so should start
* this is how many minutes each player should be playing
* Connor sucks

I think it’s how Iowa lost, up three and not fouling to put PSU at the line with a coach that has been coaching a long time, been burnt by not fouling in previous games but just this season fouled Maryland up three to put them at the line and it worked.

well, there were 19 secs left in tonight's Wisc at IU game, IU with the ball and Wisc was up 3 and Jay Bilas said Wisc should not foul (too much time left)

and with 6 secs left during that IU possession, Wisc still did not foul

And it get's old after EVERY LOSS when people say, "well, it's the way we lost."

Well, there is always a way (or ways) you lose a game.

At around the four minute mark with Indiana up by four, Bilas also made a comment about the Hoosier hopeful sensing a victory... Bilas can't even spell rocket science.

Do you realize that during Frans 11 year tenure at Iowa the only 2 remarkable accomplishments have been, last year, with the best player in college basketball on his roster, it was the only year his teams didn't reach double digits in losses (9) during the season and it was the only season he has reached the semi finals of the Big Ten Tournament ( it took 1 win)
Just think if he actually had the same recruiting and in game coaching skills of some of the best coaches in college basketball, where would Iowa be right now....it's mind boggling what loyalty and stubbornness hinders one's ability to function rationally.

Keegan is extremely talented no debate there, but so are lots of other players in college, the G league and Europe. He will definitely get a shot in the league and it may be after this season if he chooses. His draft status will not rise due to the poor talent Fran has surrounded him with which makes it easier for teams to focus on him.

This poor talent leads the B1G in scoring. How can that be?
