Me and the missus are looking forward to a kid-free weekend for the first time in awhile!

Going to go see Fury Road tonight. Having a few people over to BBQ tomorrow and will enjoy some of the New Glarus and OsO beers I bought up in Madison. Going to get the 'yak out - do some fishing on Lake George, and then will wind up the weekend with some golf.

Oh, and expecting some intermittent sexy fun time throughout.

Golf, son has golf tournament, smoke some meat & drink beers, watch blackhawks, graduation party, golf.
 
Wife and kids are going out of town. Aside from work, which is running a yacht. I ain't doing nothing.
 
Saturday I'm hosting/competing in our first-annual Rib fest. Finna to cook a whole lotta ribs Saturday given the weather holds off.

I will also drink excessively.
 
Golf Saturday morning in Madison, drive to Milwaukee for a block party the Milwaukee Bucks are hosting downtown, head to the casino there to watch the Belmont, return to Madison and eat Babcock ice cream and drink beer at the UW Memorial Union.
 
Wedding in Dubuque/Galena. Looking forward to Galena and hitting up their brewery. Anything special to do besides see the mansions/downtown area? Only have a day in Galena unfortunately.
 
Heading to the Ozarks. Got the watercraft ready yesterday. Wanted to sneak in 18 before heading down, but likely not going to happen.

Starting road trip down the Mississippi to the Gulf of Mexico. Hey, that reminds me of a song!

 
Do a long run (14ish miles), change the oil in my car and watch my son's basketball tournament.
 
Nephews T-Ball game in the morning. Then the wife and I head to Minneapolis to celebrate her sister and brother-in-laws 11 year anniversary with 3 other couples. The girls will shop and the men will attend the twins game.
We booked a couple 2 story suites at the Marriott Convention Center downtown overlooking target field. Hang there after the game and have some drinks. Supper at Fogo de Chao in the same building. Reservations at Shout House from 9-11pm across the road. We also booked a table at Spades for Thomas Gold from 11-2am. Prolly hit the strip club above Sneaky Pete's to finish off the night.
Sunday the wife and I are going to Entourage. Pretty good little weekend. Be no time for bed bath and beyond.

That Entourage movie looks godawful. Getting horrendous reviews as well.

I don't disagree, however Entourage was my favorite TV series hands down. We just got done rewatching them all last week. I have to go to the movie regardless. I think the movie will get away from the spirit of the show and have way to many cameos.
The last scene of the Entourage series was the only time I've teared up in the last 10 years. They shoulda let it end there, it was perfect IMO.

Your Saturday sounds decent, but WTF? Is this a thing? Do people actually celebrate other couples anniversaries? Were they 11 when they married? Are they mentally challenged? Is one 11 years cancer free?

They were married when they were 19 and its more of an excuse to get the group together for the evening. And I don't see the issue with another couple asking you to share a day with them on their anniversary. Maybe I'm missing something.

Does 11 mean something? No issue with having a good excuse to party, but like men attending baby/wedding showers and engagement parties, I had no idea this was a thing. We've just got down with the yak in the sack for anniversaries 1-20.

No, it doesn't have any significance. We have been talking about doing something like this for a while now and it worked out the weekend of their anniversary, so we basically ran with that.

I'm gonna drink a lot of rum. Zydeco party on the patio and getting ready for Gumbo YaYa next weekend.
 
Watching 3rd grade boy play for park district soccer championship. Super serious.

Demolish an old retaining wall Saturday morning. Movie tomorrow afternoon. I haven't decided what yet. The new Molly McCarthy flick looks about the same as the last five, but, it'll make me laugh inappropriately. Blackhawks tomorrow night and several bottles of beer. I purchased some beers that others might turn their noses up at. Schlaffly Kolsch and some Leinies Helles Yeah.
Either tonight of Sunday taking the Mrs down to the arts festival.
