First of all, if you would of told me today that Weiskamp would score only 2 points, I would of said Iowa would lose by double digits on the road at Minnesota. Would you not agree?
I think the world of Weiskamp and this is not a bashing just an observation that I am curious to see other peoples opinion. Although I think Joe will play in the NBA at some point I have noticed that he sometimes disappear in games and certainly seems to not play well thru contact. Today not only did he disappear offensively which I think is why Fran sat him late in the game today but I also noticed that when he is defended physically like he was today, he seems to have a tough time playing thru contact. He is a crucial part to this teams success and certainly will be moving forward, but he needs to learn to play thru contact better in my opinion moving forward as a Hawkeye and certainly as a NBA prospect.
What's everybody's thoughts here or am I off base here?
