There go even more of the good recruits. That’s the type of name we needed here. But now PSU and OSU can fight over the top guys maybe we can check Idaho and New Mexico

Bad for Penn St. Good for wrestling all together. Should be a lot of fun. I've come to terms with letting the program fall to a 5-10th place program.
DT seems like he will be a very calm and courteous coach. He is robotic but magical. He has always been gracious in defeat and that will continue in his coaching career.
Wouldn’t it be funny if Coleman Scott came to Iowa and took half the team with him? Tom should try to get Coleman as his number 2, he must feel so betrayed right now. All in all, this is good for college wrestling and Okie State. David is a great wrestler, coach and ambassador.

Iowa is being left further and further behind. At least get good assistant coaches. Recruits nowadays don't know nor care who Morningstar and Telford are. This is Zelesky era all over again.
Not sure about that. If you are in the portal and have one year left. Do you really want to risk it in this situation? It could end up being a great situation but could be a shatshow while there is turnover.
Now we go after Dake in next 12-24 months with Spencer as 1 assistant then have more years of Dake/Taylor rivalry. If OSU can go outside family tree so can we. Spencer can also coach the HWC and let Dake bring in assistants
I'd expect the first year to be an issue but he's going to be able to recruit and my guess is we will see that immediately.
DT is a home run hire and I expect him to win a lot in Stillwater. Congrats to the Cowboys 🤢

Our only hope is Spencer wins gold. Retires. Joins the staff with a 3 year plan to make him head coach.
Who were we kidding. This athletic department could never pull something of this magnitude off. Iowa wrestling died on May 6th, 2024. I hope people are fvcking happy.
Until the last couple of days DT probably never saw himself coaching at OSU.
He said he would only coach at a big 3. He got offered the job and took it.
If you go on to you tube and watch David Taylor coaching at M2 you will see Jax Forrest and Bo Basset right in front hanging on every word in the videos, along with Levi Haines and several P4P wrestlers.
I am not saying David will get them all, but it isn't a stretch to see he has built quit a relationship with some studs.
This will certainly divide the PA kids, which could be good for Iowa.
I just hope it doesn't mean Iowa will be a distant 3rd - 5th.

Sadly, this is spot on. Are TNT too stupid to change or just so blindly loyal they won’t change? So many basic flaws like these in the program and HWC that just stay status quo - it’s infuriating.
So damn depressing for the Hawks.
They’re some of the most stubborn people out there and are only getting older (aka more stubborn)
It's not dead but definitely on life support. We just all huddle in here for positive news and we've gotten nothing in two years. It's been painful.
Everyone acting like Taylor walks on water and parted the Red Sea. Guy has no coaching experience and never recruited. Let’s just wait and see. Could be a home run, could be a flop. IWC should stop creaming itself.
