Who Knew, Grape Juice Could Yield Similar Results Of Hydroxychloroquine

The left's obsession with trashing Trump over his hydroxychloroquine remarks is really an eye opener. It's almost like they are rooting for this drug to fail. How sick and twisted can you get.
All you have to do is read what the dopes on here post.

They most certainly are. At this point it’s about winning in 2020.

No, but you are exposing why you shouldn't be making comments in threads that require just a little bit of understanding of science.

It take zero scientific knowledge to recognize a motive.

Do you think it is a little odd how he keeps throwing it out there? I guess when you consider he has the same sort of impulse control as a 15 year old teen boy it makes sense but come on, you can't believe him peddling this drug in national press conferences is a good thing.

Yes, doctors should test it on people with COVID in well controlled clinical trials so we know but you have Trump acting like some sort of medicine man peddling his latest cure...its a joke.

what is Communist Ted's scientific background ?

This really is sick its like the Michigan Gov banning the drug to spite Trump

Obviously it does.

Hell, he's already killed one person with this. Other locations have had to stop giving this treatment because of the dangerous side effects.

I hope Trump is right. Let's see the results of this miracle drug.

The way it is being talked up, I expect results.

I don't consider myself 'left' or 'right', especially for the sake of this discussion - so you might not be referring to me. However, just because people are raising some concern does not mean they are rooting for the drug to fail. In any other circumstance, the studies done to date would not support the widespread use of hydroxychloroquine for COVID-19. They are preliminary at best and do not have any meaningful clinical outcomes. It is also not a benign drug and should be used with extreme caution in the absence of clinical data that suggests better outcomes.

Notice the dems cant think for themselves but just go in lock step with the anti-hydroxycloroquine talking points.

At this point I think the blood will be on Teds hands. There will be liberals who refuse to listen to their doctor because of these idiots

You mean run out and buy the "pool cleaner version" and dose themselves on it against "their doctor's advice"?

Let's HOPE not.....

If no one was familiar with your posting history it would be eye opening how quickly you're able to recognize a motive.

Your conclusions are sick and twisted.

Bullshit, Ted Lieu is a nutjob. He is calling this drug a placebo when all the hospitals/docs in the US are using it. I guess he learned about all this in law school.

HCQ is proven to kill COVID in test tubes and at least some patients. It shows far more promise than grape juice SMH. Maybe it isn’t the wonder drug, maybe it is. Who knows?

I do find it interesting when people can say that the drug is dangerous and will give you a heart attack, and in the next breath say we need to save the drug to give to lupus patients!o_O

Well, if Tom Fitton from Judicial Watch says a drug works, by all means let’s listen to him.

This isn’t difficult - if the drug works, that would be shown in a controlled study to a statistical level of confidence. So far, that result doesn’t exist. Which is what Fauci is saying. But by all means, listen to Tom Fitton over, you know, an immunologist.

How come you completely disregarded the other link?

Just like most of medicine, it is all risk/benefit. We know it is beneficial in diseases like lupus, and we can therefore assess whether the risks of the drug outweigh the benefits in that patient population. For COVID-19 we have no idea whether it will be beneficial, and if it is, we have no idea how beneficial. It makes the risk/benefit analysis impossible.

The list of drugs that can kill things in a test tube that go no to fail in clinical trials is immense, but we don't often hear about them because they don't make it to market.

Not all hospitals/docs in the US are using it. Some are, others aren't. The hospital I am most familiar with is not using it in in widespread manner by any means. Other systems are. Ideally we would have a large clinical trial by now.
