I have seen people arguing that USC has a better resume than both OSU and Alabama. USC actually played somebody, too! In their noncon, they played Texas and Notre Dame.

I might be wrong but pretty sure there was a large southern emphasis on the committee.

Not watching a second of this. My idea of a playoff was seeing what all regions of the country would do against one another not watching the SEC play another conference title game.

Yeah, I am tired of Clemson / Alabama and I can't even imagine watching an Alabama/Georgia national championship game and hearing the "SEC! SEC!" chants..

Why even play conference championship games? They clearly don't matter.

USC, the PAC 12 Champ? Does not matter.
OSU, the Big 10 Champ? Does not matter.

OSU's biggest mistake was getting dismantled by Iowa. I have no sympathy for Urban it was his own arrogance that cost him the Iowa game.

Having a CFP and excluding the champions of the B1G and P12 is like the NFL excluding the AFC North and NFC West division champions from the playoffs.

They are excluding 2/3 the country, and making the entire legitimacy of having a "National Championship" a joke.

Watched last year to see Deshaun and see if Clemson could take down almighty 'bama. The only player of interest this year would be Mayfield.

I'll be watching the B1G bowl games, maybe some of the championship on the 8th. Not upset about the decision to put Alabama in, but a general trend of being less and less interested in sports as I learn that very few teams have a chance in college football and basketball.
