What are the odds that the Refs call stalling the way some of them did at the beginning of the year and the way the rules say they should?

Well Kwood thanks for ruining everybody's day. I suppose you were the student who would raise his hand and remind the teacher that they were supposed to give us a quiz on Friday. To further show my disgust I refuse to put any Emoji's in this post.

I assume most have you have seen a very limited number of Retherfords matches this year. I've watched pretty much all of them and aside from the one match he wasn't even close to stalling in any of them. In fact, 99% of them he's either turning people or releasing them to take them down again. It's entirely possible I'm wrong here. If that's the case would someone then explain to me how a guy is top 3 for the "most dominate wrestler" award if he's stalling his way through matches?

So actually......I wasn't disappointed.

Sure there were a few questionable calls and non calls, but...

Overall I think they made great progress and I'm impressed.

If Retherford had stalled on top this weekend, Alex Pantaleo and Brandon Short wouldn't need chiropractors today and Brandon Sorenson wouldn't have had the opportunity to spend two quality minutes of a Big 10 final practicing his parterre defense. Nobody who knows a lick about wrestling would accuse Zain of stalling on top.

I thought overall the officiating was very solid. Unfortunately most fans are clueless about the actual rules so perception isn't always based in reality of what's actaully taking place.

Biggest problem with the sport right now is the review is being abused. Coaches requesting reviews when there is no obvious challenge and doing it to get a breather for their wrestler. Perry and Davis are the biggest culprits and Manning isn't far behind. I'm for adding a component that if a review doesn't result in a change, the other wrestler gets choice on the restart.
