Worst officiating of the year

They don't go to the monitor because IA has little chance of going to the dance when MN is fighting for the tourney birth.

It's a shame that makes the game nearly unbearable to watch anymore. I know I've become more apathetic about watching college hoops as time goes on. This is a big part of it.

They absolutely should have gone to the monitor to see if he was out of bounds. They blew it and they blew the time out as well. However, it has nothing to do with your grand conspiracy about MN fighting for the tourney birth. It has everything to do with total incompetence by the refs.

I disagree...

Our problem is NOT the zebras.

Not at the half but the final 30 seconds it was. Some of the worst officiating I have ever seen. Having said that why didn't Brady E take off down the court when he had a chance early. The 10 second count was clearly still a concern w 25 seconds left.

He likely (incorrectly) assumed that he'd be able to get a timeout and was taking a few seconds off the clock. Brady's a smart player, I don't think he made a mistake

Even if you get the time out I don't believe the count resets. He biffed it there even though I could hear him calling for TO on my TV and the officials missed the MN player being out of bounds on the jump call.

Actually the 10-count is reset on a timeout. And I meant that he was trying to take a few seconds off the game clock before calling the TO. It was a smart, heady play by Ellingson, and the refs ruined it

10 second count resets on the timeout.
